Although they are great headphones for my grandson
I'm kind of mixed about my rating. Although they are great headphones for my grandson, it's the only type he'll wear, he has autism, he uses them for his devices, but also uses them to block out unwanted noise! His hearing is extremely sensitive because of the Autism. I've lost count of how many pair I have bought, some last quite a while, others maybe a couple weeks, and it's always the same problem, one ear cup just stops working! No damage, just quit! I have at least 15-20 pair that only one side works. That definitely really upsets Justin. I don't know what to do, because I can't buy another brand, only Sony! But when they work, they have great sound!!

Best Headphones Ever!
These are my favorite headphones and I use them all the time. The sound is clear and the style of headphone is everything. I don't have to worry about them falling out of my ears or anything like that and they cover my ears so I can't hear anything around me when my music is playing. I also like the foldable feature. It helps when I put them in my case for my gym bag. All in all, Great investment. The shipping was quick and the product was what I was looking for. If I ever purchase more headphones, I will repurchase these.

Okay if you can get them for under $30 Don't buy the red ones.
Too much bass. If you have an equalizer you can decrease the bass and the sound is acceptable. I bought the white ones. The color should not matter but it seems to actually matter. After buying two pairs of white headphones I later bought the same model in red. The red ones were garbage because of poor sound quality. My guess is that the color is not the only difference. Maybe the red ones have different construction and materials. The covers that come in contact with your ears are low quality and deteriorate quickly.I bought them and later bought a second pair and then a third pair.

The lightweight and folding feature are perfect for young ones to wear for a while without ...
Bought for my 8 year old daughter. The lightweight and folding feature are perfect for young ones to wear for a while without tiring. My daughter loves it and my wife and I are happy for her not to use in ear headphones that could damage their hearing. Great price. Just took 1 star off because, for the price, you can't have the durability you get with $200 headphones nor the top end sound. But great bang for the buck. More than decent sound (i'm picky but my daughters aren't yet). In my opinion, these sound as good as your $130 beats for $100 less. Bought my other daughter a Project Hear it One headphone for $80 that's about the best you can buy for under $300. This one is about 85% for the sound qualify and great for tablet, laptop or cell phone audio/video use. Just can't beat the bang for the buck.

Really good quality for the price.
Love these. They have lasted the longeest - by far - of any over-the-ear headphones I've had in recent years. I think the sound quality is great, but I'm not a hardcore audiophile or anything. Being able to fold them up is nice when I want to slide them into my gym bag, although they only fold enough to lay flat-- it's not a huge space saver or anything.

Cheap materials and painful design
I purchased these because of the positive reviews about the comfort level of the headphones. Every earphone/headphone I have ever tried eventually gives me earaches because of the pressure they put on the outer ears. These not only made them hurt, but caused a painful bruise that gave me shooting pains. I thought at first that I was developing an ear infection because I could feel pain shoot all the way down to my throat, but when I looked in the mirror, there was a red spot in my ear where the headphones had caused a bruise. To add insult to injury, the cheap paint they used on the ear cushions started cracking and peeling after only a month after I bought them. The paint pieces rubbed all over the sides of my face, which I didn't notice until my husband looked at me and asked, "What's all that white stuff on your face?" I was not a heavy user of these headphones, nor did I mistreat them. I'm disappointed in the quality of this Sony product.

Great
This is my sixth pair of Sony headphones. Over the course of the last fifteen or so years, they have been all I've bought because they last a long time for the price, they are good quality, and I like how they fit. These are working well.

Durable, high sound quality
My daughter uses these every day and takes them everywhere. They have a great tone and do a good job canceling outside noise. They also take a real beating. She had other foldable headphones that snapped. These were a replacement and she says they're better than her first foldable headphones. They're really adjustable; her 10-yr-old brother "borrows" them sometimes and they fit both kids. ASD-friendly.
