Brentwood Home Pismo Therapeutic Latex Foam Wedge Pillow, Made in USA, 11-inch

This is NOT ORGANIC. there is only a top layer of latex. The rest of the piece is a chemical smelling foam. I am returning it, but feel the need to also inform others about this. I want you to avoid the hassle of returning it, or worse yet, using it thinking that it is 100% organic. I repeat, it is not. False advertising. Really should not be sold as organic.

Have had it about 3 weeks now. Had been trying to make do with multiple traditional pillows but they were too soft and movable to keep me in place all night, so I thought I'd give this a try. Very well made and firm. This pillow position does take some getting used to, but I'm glad I'm sticking it out. I am FAR less congested in the mornings and the huge bags under my eyes from stomach sleeping are a thing of the past. After a few straight days of using it, I fall asleep fast and, if I wake up, I fall back asleep fast. I would rate this excellent except for the adjustment period which is probably inevitable. I do think the long term outcome will be worth it.I find that having a soft pillow to one side of my head works best. It's cold weather now and we keep cooler bedrooms. Since you are more upright in bed, the top of the covers is more likely to pull down from your chin toward your chest. I've taken to wearing a fleece top over my jammies so that I don't get cold if that happens.PS just went on my first trip since starting this pillow and took it along. It is rather large and clumsy to take along, but I had just as much benefit from it as I do at home.

It's expensive, but it is very comfortable and it works very well to help me with sleep apnea. I first bought a much cheaper wedge that was made of foam and was very very hard and uncomfortable. Spending the extra money on this one was well worth the better sleep.

This is a great quality LATEX cushion, with a very nice zippered cover. Very natural, and has no odor. But take note, for good or bad, this is VERY VERY FIRM. You cannot side-sleep on it with your shoulder pressed into it, it will actually hurt you if you try this. It's great for the flat of your back. Combining this with other pillows and supports on a bed, you will find that this is always going to be the firmest item of everything you have, even your mattress. I move around a lot thru the night, so I learned this the "hard" way.

Was disappointed to find out it is only 1 1/2 " of latex on the top of this very stiff foam. It was misleading. For the price I could have purchased a fully natural latex pillow. It is too stiff and does not give support to my neck and I end up in pain.

Although this wedge is described as latex, it is made of an inch of latex fused to a heavy layer of foam. There is an odor initially when unwrapped. The latex on my pillow was damaged at the edge (see photos). Too overpriced.Update:The comfort level is five star. Supports neck and shoulders well, so revised my review. Odor dissipates slowly.

Decent wedge. Might be softer than I prefer, because it’ll only get softer over time. The company may want to make a design change to have the zipper at the bottom of the wedge. Mine was at the top and the zipper hits and scratches the wall. I had to see a patch/cover over the zipper end to protect the wall.

After looking a many options for wedges I chose this one partly because it is made in the US so I assumed the quality would likely be better as well as wanting to support US made goods. Reviews of other wedges talked about a bad smell. This wedge is made of a high quality latex foam and does not have any smell. It is firm and holds up well. It has a very nice zip off cover. I bought the 11" high model which is a very nice height to sleep on. It is comfortable and keeps its shape. I highly recommend this wedge over the other wedges offered. And the price is right!
