Michael Stokes DECONSTRUCTED Hardcover – January 1, 2019

I love his work. It takes my breath away. I’ve learned a lot from looking at his work. Photograph what you love and edit it they way you want. A very important lesson for all things in life. This book is special!! The pictures are amazing!!!

Lovely addition to my collection.

When my copy of Divine Eros arrived I wondered where my copy of Deconstructed was. I had neglected to order it. I did so, and I am so glad I did. There are a couple old favorite models on pages two and three, and it had me recalling a store Michael told about this shoot. My other surprise was the fold out, and you'll have to buy the book to know why. This book is filled from cover to cover with beautiful, well presented, professional photography. It's smaller than Mr. Stokes other works, but that makes it easy to pick up and page through. The stories the photos tell are entertaining, and educational. I'm glad I own it.

This book is a personal side from the collection of Michael Stokes and his career as a published photographer.There are many surprises to the smaller format of his work, but this is a more personal reflection from his view.It's nice to see the photographer share his comments as to how a particular image was captured.An essential companion for a serious Michael Stokes collection.

Michael Stokes creates beautiful, beautiful books. The quality of this book is extremely good: paper and binding are of high quality and the printing is exceptional. An incredibly well done photo book. The care to detail was amazing. Michael has great models in the book, he also is able to tell a story. I have loved seeing Michael's pictures and followed him for years on Facebook. I was so thrilled to help support this book.

This was my first time purchasing a Michael Stokes photobook and I promise it will not be my last. The photos were not raunchy in any way. Stokes made me appreciate the male body even more. 😉
