AeroGarden Grow Light Adapter

This seems like a really good idea to be able to use the grow lights after they have served their purpose in the aero gardens. I think it would have been but when I was tending my aero gardens and the drawer I kept the misc. equipment in was open my dog pepper decided it looked like a good chew toy and so it goes.

love the ability to put the grow light anywhere. It definitely makes my indoor gardening easier and allows me to incorporate a larger area.

I really got this as a backup in the even that my AeroGrow tomato plants get too big for the little aerogrow garden I have. So far I tested it and it works as it is designed, but haven't used it yet.

Can't complain about this item. However, the bulbs are definitely designed to burn out around the 6 month mark, anyway.

Takes my aerogarden bulbs and makes them usable in so many places. They will be really helpful in the greenhouse on those low light days or in the winter.

This adapter,along with the grow lights,is exactly what my indoor plants needed to get through the winter months.

I used an AeroGarden light in another area of the house. It reduced eye fatigue and everyone says they can read print easily and see details better under the grow light. Just be aware that the adapter will increase the length of the bulb and it may not fit into the shade or frame of the lamp you wanted it for. (Add two or three inches to the bottom and make room for the square bulb.) I had to wrap aluminum foil around my lamp to extend the shade because the bulb longer/taller than the lamp shade. I had hoped to use these to help with lighting a large indoor garden, and to use the grow bulbs in other areas of the house, but I'm told that these adapters are out of stock and the CS doesn't know when/if they will have them in stock again. :(
