This item worked well! I had to change my brakes and needed something to safely secure the calipers to the vehicle. I used an old bungee cord (which broke) the previous brake job and decided to use something better this time. This product was far superior than using a bungee cord. It hooked easily onto my calipers and onto the spring. And being metal it’s not going to break. I chose the green color because I have old eyes and like bright colored tools when working on the car. I would recommend these for your next brake job. The price point on these is also very good.

These are very strong, so you don't have to worry about them bending and I like that they come in a zip bag to keep them together.

I'm pretty sure the measurements provided in the listing were outside dimensions as these are certainly not 2" wide inside the curve. They are however heavy duty enough to work with probably any caliper you'd ever come across provided the width in the hook is large enough to grasp the caliper..

Simple yet sturdy solution to keep those brake calipers out of the way and those brake lines from getting damaged. The bright green is a good queue to remember to take these off your springs when you are done. Perfect length works well for any brake job.
