Great customer service, fits well worth it for custom fit
Short version: great customer service and would buy again.Long version:My wife wanted a new stereo for her birthday.I took a risk on buying this because of the custom fit for our Kia Forte5 SX. I didn’t like the “chin” on the dash kits that were available and was getting quotes of $800 for a factory looking faceplate for the stereo, taking it to $2,000 for everything at a local shop. There are not a lot of reviews and not a ton of info on the listing, but for the cost difference I thought I would risk it and it payed off. Definitely worth it.When I got the unit they had already wired the connectors for the car and it was done well. However, there was a problem. There are a couple different stereos and wiring setups for this car and ours had a different on than standard.I contacted the seller and got a response in an hour. They responded to numerous questions about setup, wiring, steering wheel controls, connections etc. I sent them the wiring diagram and even the weird factory USB connector on my model that nobody makes an adapter for. They just sent me an email that the adapter is on its way.The steering wheel controls worked great, no adapter needed, but you will need to program them which is easy. The radio works well, still figuring it all out. There is a manual that goes over some stuff, but a lot more there than the manual can cover. You can see the pic, I replaced one of the cigarette lighters with a dual USB that connected to the ones from the stereo. The third USB will be the factory one once the adapter gets here. For the factory backup camera, you will need a voltage step down converter, fairly easy to install. I set it up so camera is always on.There are some slight differences in gaps, which slightly bug me, but I’m not ocd so I am able to mostly ignore. Also, the only mounting is the front bezel/faceplate. It seems plenty strong, but I wish it had side brackets like the factory.A few things still working on.Mic could be louder when I call people they have trouble hearing. . Right now it’s on steering column, will try and move to headliner.Volume control, some things need more volume and switching from phone back to music can be a problem. Looking for an app from the Play store.I may add some more accessories down the road like the front cameraDefinitely Worked our well and my wife really likes it. Wireless Apple Carplay works great, but can be a little slow to reconnect.

Best part is Apple Car play… everything else not so much
An honest review. The best feature in the stereo is of course the Apple car play. It works fantastic but it does take a while to connect. The backup camera quality on the screen is not the best… it looked way better on the originally factory stereo. Almost looks like we went back to 2010 with the picture quality. Taking calls through your car is well is not the best. I was told that there is a constant screeching in the back and I sound far away. If you have a usb charging port installed in your car… forget about using it. They told me the stereo is too small for that. And the last complaint is the trim around the stereo. There is a gap at the top and it keeps coming out. Especially because of the stereo weight and it’s only screwed in with one screw instead of 4 like the factory stereo. I want to love it due to the Apple play but I also have a lot of complaints. I have uploaded the after and before pictures so you can compare. If you have the yellow cable, that means you will not be able to use the usb charging port.

It’s works very well
I’ve had my car for 6 years and finally decided to get another radio. I found one that was made for my car and immediately ordered it. They reached out and asked a couple of questions to make sure they sent the correct one and I appreciated that. Any questions I had they were able to assist. I love my radio. I use the car play and that’s about it. The radio does have a lot of features that I might not use because I’m an iPhone user but they radio is made well. I recommend buying for a Kia Forte if you want to spice up your car. It looks like the car came with a car play radio and nothing bulky. I plan on getting back up camera to add to my vehicle. I’ll come back once that’s done and give my feedback on who that looks with the radio. The radio is pricey compared to other radios but I seen nothing but good reviews so I decided on this one!

Works great don't listen to the guy at the stereo store
Works great...android auto works wirelessly and has full internet with wifi or mobile Hotspot on your phone but you don't really need it with android auto because more then likely your phone will be able to do those tasks for you...also the steering wheel controls work great even though the guy that installed it said he could not figure it out and that they probably would not work no matter what...I was able to set the controls in about 10 seconds because there is an app on the second screen that says wheel key...I would say so far so good and hopefully won't have any problems...I will update this if any problems I'm the future but I love it so far...also fits exactly and looks great....

Simple to set up on 2014 Kia Forte lx
The item came in great condition and it took about 15 minutes to connect everything that I needed in order for it to work. The hardest part for me was taking my dashboard apart. Initial review is 5/5.
