This product is easy to use, just choose a setting and plug it into an outlet. It isn’t an eye sore and also has a light which comes in handy as a night light. I live in the south where “stink bugs” invade every spring and hang around until winter kills them out. I have had this device plugged in for roughly 48 hours and have not seen a single stink bug! We often have flies get into our house in the summer because we have cattle and I am excited to see if this helps to keep them away as well as spiders and ants. I won’t know for sure until summer comes around but for now it definitely works for stink bugs. The only thing that I am unhappy with is the directions. They were not very clear but it was not too difficult to just figure it out.

Well it seems to work, and it does what its meant to do. I haven't seen any ants or any other bugs since i put it in!

Very poor product. As soon as I plugged it in, it made a very annoying constant noise - so I turned it off after sometime and as a result of this product I had a very bad headache for one whole week! I have never experienced such severe and weird headache ever before. I do not advise use of this product. And also its pretty bulky and yes it does cover the entire plug point (top and bottom). But the headaches are really my dealbreaker here.Update: the seller reached out via email and offered a full refund to me or a replacement. I was pretty surprised to see that after so many months. They seem nice and genuine. I still stand my review though as this was my personal experience.

Advertised as pet friendly but as soon as I plugged it in, my cat was furious. The device made an audible noise that my husband and I found mildly irritating but whatever the frequency was seriously bugged my cat. We immediately unplugged it, but he was agitated for some time afterward. Had to return it, so I can't say how it would do with repelling pests, but it would definitely repel cats!

UPDATE: I had to send one back because it started to hiss. The item that replaced it is even MORE noisy. So, I got a refund. I still have one, and it seems to work well, and makes no noise at all.UPDATE: Have only seen one cricket in the several weeks I've had it. Usually, this time of year I'd see a LOT more, and spiders and all sorts of little critters - all gone.Being that I've only had these a few days (I bought 2), I can't yet speak to the efficacy of these units. I will do so in an update to this review at the appropriate time. However, I needed to chime in early to warn everybody that these units are huge. They block out the second wall socket on most any USA two-plug socket configuration. The blue night light is very bright.

This plug in pest repeller is pretty decent. It's easy to use. It has a night light feature, which is nice. It also has two settings (fixed and variable), which comes in handy, depending on where you plug it in or what you're trying to repel. Doesn't seem to bother my cat. Noiseless. The only downside is, the day after I started using it, I found a couple of large ants crawling on my wall. Hoping it keeps them at bay now. On the plus side, though, I haven't seen or heard any mice (we had issues with them in my kitchen earlier this year; my cat killed 3 of them), and we have squirrels and bats who tend to get brave and try to get in, but thankfully haven't seen or even heard any of them either. So fingers crossed that the insects go away too. Overall, though, not a bad product at all.
