Holds Eyewear
Really wanted those sick frames in the picture but the elastic band has cool too. Those frames are my style, sleak and they look tinted, probably would go well with my swimsuit or cargo shorts, you know itβs hot out when I break out those garments

Perfect For Me
I've had these on my daily wear glasses for about nine months now. I love them. I rarely hang my glasses around my neck, but that's not what I bought them for. I got them to tighten up when I'm throwing the football, working on the truck, riding the atv's, and any other activity that may make my specs slide down my nose. These work perfect. And they're comfortable enough that I pretty much only take them off for weddings and funerals. I also ordered a pair of Chums No Tails, but they're too big for my 7 1/4 sized melon and don't cinch down tight enough. Not a problem with the Croakies. I'm out in the weather a lot, and they kind of feel like they're maybe getting a little brittle, but they still look like new. And at $6-8 a pair, I'll definitely be ordering a couple more as backups. It does look like the charcoal color is no longer available, so that's a bummer, but I'll settle for black. Shipping was fast and ordering was a breeze as always with Amazon.

Well made but not for me
I ordered this Croakie and a Chums Slip Fit (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003CJWI9C/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i01) spectacles retainer. I had no experience with either brand and did not want to purchase an off-brand; I wanted high quality and reliability.Of the two, I immediately found the Chums to be the better product FOR ME and the Croakie not to my liking at all. The problem I had with the Croakie was the fabric. Since it slips over the ends of the temple pieces and envelops them, the fabric sits on one's ear. I found this irritating. The fabric is soft and a bit "fuzzy". Holding it in one's had is pleasant, but for me sitting on my ears was not! Some may not find this an issue. If that is the case, then the Croakie is a good choice as it is well made, grips tightly and the length should be good for most people.

Lightweight, slim, not too obvious or clunky
These are as expected. They are for a pair of sunglasses I wear for sports so they should work out fine. Although, I have a really cool old pair of Croakies micro suiters that are not adjustable and have no tail and I prefer those. These are the only slim, light ones I could find though. The plastic adjuster is very low profile but I'm still not crazy about the tail. I've been known to cut off the ends, toss the bead and sew the thing together. I like to wear my retainers fairly tight anyway, These seem sturdy enough (but not quick-dry, I know that) and if I really really strain my hands I can get them on a pair of Wayfarers. But best on thinner earpieces.

Good old fashioned Croakies.
If my review is helpful, please click that it was!I don't have much experience with croakies beyond this set. I really enjoy them. They seem to be well made. They will fade after a few years of wearing them in the sun. However, they are offered at a great price and have lasted me a efw years. I recently lost my RB 4125 glasses with these attached. I have promptly replaced both. They have secured my glasses when I have fallen and while riding my motorcycle. On my bike, I was merging onto a highway and looking over my left shoulder. The wind got behind my glasses fram and blew them right off my face. I lost one pair of glasses like this, but the croakies saved the second pair!Would definitely recommend these. Enjoy!

Exactly what I was looking for!
I bought this retainer because my glasses have spring loaded arms and, despite the fact that I had the nose pads changed to silicone, my glasses were constantly sliding down my nose while playing ball. I was a little concerned that, because the arms on my glasses are pretty small, this retainer might not fit, despite the fact that the description indicates they are for glasses with small arms. However, to my relief, the retainer fits very well and it slides up the arms of my glasses with just enough effort to provide confidence that it will not slip while not being a nuisance to put on. Now, if anything, my glasses are too well retained and it took a while to get used to not pushing them up all the time. Fortunately, the strap is very easy to adjust by sliding the retainer on the back which is very important since you can't be certain that the strap will be installed in exactly the same position every time. All in all I am very pleased with the retainer and I cannot think of any negatives at all. Shop around on Amazon thouhg as I found that, if you don't care about color (I bought a blue one for less than a black one) you might be able to save a few dollars.

Great fit and adjustable based on desire
This is pretty awesome, fits well, the connector to glasses is expandable to fit my big frame. I can easily adjust the back for snugger or looser fit.My glasses will no longer slip off due to sweat.

You know your expensive glasses are secure.
They worked very well. I could look over the bow of a ship and not worry about my glasses falling overboard. Cinch them up and your glasses stay on no matter what activity you're involved in. Being micro does limit the width of temple tips you can use them with.
