This case fits larger guitars well.
I purchased a Guild Artist's Award jazz guitar that came with a broken case. The guitar measures 44" long, and has an oversized peghead, but in all other dimensions is close to the same as most arch-top 17" guitars or flattop jumbo guitars. The AA's body is also slightly deeper than most arch tops. The cases for these guitars that I could find were all 44" long, too tight for the guitar to fit without damaging the guitar or the case. When I found this TKL case, I emailed the company with measurements just to make sure this case would fit. A representative wrote back and assured me it would.I have several other TKL cases , so I already knew this one would sturdy and well appointed. This case has 5 latches, is upholstered in a burlap-textured black, and has a navy blue fuzzy interior that's well padded with a double cradle for the next and a large pick box. The padded handle balances well empty or full of guitar. It's exactly what I expected it to be. It's large, for sure; the extra length is in the neck area, just where it needed to be.I think the case would fit a Jumbo 12-string with a long peghead and a deep body, and would also fit a number of arch-tops from custom makers. The delivery was excellent. The case arrived 2 days before the anticipated date, and was in perfect condition. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another from this dealer.

One of the best cases I've seen
This hits the mark on all counts: well padded , sturdy, good looking and very professional . I particularly like the stainless latches as they don't tarnish. Which all my cases had them. Most cases of this type fall into this price range , but this is the best I've seen for the money. When I need another, this is what I will go for.

Slightly overpriced.
Better than the more expensive Canadian made cases by TKL, but still could be much better for the cost. TKL support is next to zero. Tiscase does have one less latch than the Canada cases, but the valance seems stiffer/better fitting. It also needs much more padding - just like the Canada TKL cases. It will keep your archtop from being scratched or save it from minor bumps, but I would not trust it to protect a guitar an abrupt drop.

8820 fits Benedetto 17"archtop
I just got the TKL 8820 archtop jumbo case and I'm very happy to report that it does indeed fit the 17 inch archtop guitar that I built using Robert Benedetto's book. TKL generally makes pretty decent cases (I also use one for an Epiphone mandolin I have) so it should serve me well. What a relief to find a reasonably priced, decent, hardshell case to fit my newly constructed archtop! The only reason I didn't give this case a 5 star rating is because it 'squeaks' loudly when you open it. That not withstanding, the case looks good, seems sturdy, and it's reasonably priced. Satisfied customer!

It's Big. Real Big.
A 1954 Epiphone Century with pickguard and the works, fits with plenty of room to spare. I fact I'm using a rolled up diaper to fill the dead space at the bottom of the lower bout. Top quality TDL as per usual, hardware, fit and finish, tolex, all great. Smells like glue at first, air it out and get over it.

Fits a Vintage Gibson L-7 Archtop
I purchased this case as a replacement for a 1948 Gibson L-7 arch top guitar. The fit is excellent and I am sure it will protect the guitar nicely for the rest of it's usable life.

A little loose for an Epiphone Broadway -- could use more padding.
This case was recommended for the Epiphone Broadway on a jazz site. I also have a TKL case for a Gretsch hollow body and a Martin TKL-made case for my Martin dreadnaught. The case is well made but a little loose on the Broadway. This is in contrast to the other cases - the one for the Martin is a perfect fit while the one for the Gretsch is very snug. This case has less padding than the other cases. I also tried the Epiphone case, but that was poorly made -- this is much better. I may add some padding, but all in all a nice serviceable case.
