My all time favorite stylus
The stylus' replaceable tip is fantastic and glides effortlessly against my screen. The glass breaker is... well, a glass breaker. It does what it says, and if you clock someone in the head with it, they're going to run away crying, so, good defense tool. The pen insert writes great, or you can always swap it out for your favorite style or color. The threading and overall craftsmanship is solid, and the stylus is a good weight. Not heavy, not overly light. The clip is sturdy and removable. Some reviews I've seen on YouTube say you can rotate the clip 180 degrees so that it is on the other side, but they obviously didn't actually attempt this because the clip does NOT rotate. There is a groove that it slips into, and this does not work if you rotate the clip to the other side. When it comes to the clip, it's the stylus' way or the highway. That's actually my only gripe, as the clip is kind of in the way when using the stylus. The problem is one side of the stylus has a flat notch about an inch long where your thumb can rest comfortably. The only problem is the clip is in the way of the other fingers. If I could just rotate the clip, it would be perfect. You can remove the clip altogether, but then you run the risk of losing the stylus. One other thing, and this is just a nitpick, I guess, but the clip is not on the cap, it's connected to the pen itself. This means when you put the cap on top of the stylus while writing, the clip is in the middle of the pen with the cap jutting upward, and it just looks odd. Not a big deal, but not ideal either.Overall, I love this stylus and would recommend it.

At least it's a pen...
As reported- stylus cap is not secure on glass breaker but enough to sign your name.Glass breaker is where your thumb should be but I doubt I'll be in that emergency. Don't like site hype but do like their support. Also like included refills.Better small size over the killer pens!

Better than anticipated
Purchased for each member of the family so this review is a compilation. These are the second kobuton that we've gotten so that we are able to make a better review.PROS1. Length is more comfortable during various uses,2. Weight is better balanced than a longer tool would be,3. Touch screen end is very nice as my device screens are cleaner AND is actually a protective addition for the thumb when using the shatter end4. Color choice of ink - I prefer blue - puts the user in charge of the item5. First thing I did was head to store to get additional refills that I strategically locate because I write a lot6. Side clip is snug but doesn't stick out to scrape and snag.7. Self-defense videos are free and helpfulThis isCONSNone yet

Well built
Very well built, even weight, sturdy, and above all else a beautiful pin this is my second pin since the last one I had to replace after it got lost. That’s the only reason why I had to replace it.

Great Price, Bad Build Quality
This review is based on 5-6 months of everyday carry use. I always keep a pen on me since you never know when you, or someone else, will need one. This made me decide to search for the best EDC (Everyday Carry) pen I could find that has a reasonable price. The Atomic Bear Defender pen had great reviews, affordable pricing, a stylus, and was built “tough”. This met pretty much every want/need I had in a pen so I purchased it. Upon first opening the pen I was really surprised and impressed! It came with ink refills and seemed like a really solid pen.I replaced my plastic pen I carry and started carrying the Defender. Here is where my trouble began… The first month my ink cartridge stopped working as normal so I replaced it with an included refill. Well the refill didn’t work so I tried the second included refill and it did work. I figure it’s just a cheap refill or random defect and move on.The second month I started heavily using the pen daily. I quickly realized how uncomfortable it is to write with this pen during long periods. There is no rubber finger rest, no support of any kind, just slick surface area to hold onto. If you plan to use this pen often I would say move on to a different pen. The next issue I encountered was the stylus tip constantly unscrewed itself in my pocket. Every time I went to use it I had to tighten it before I could do anything. Sometimes it would just fall off in my pocket or fly across a room when I pulled the pen out.Lastly this pen uses a rubber o-ring on one end to hold the cap while in use. After 2-3 months of use my rubber o-ring came off in my pocket twice. Then one day it just disappeared and I could no longer stick the cap on the pen while in use. This issue and the multiple other issues I experienced eventually caused me to discontinue use of the Atomic Bear Defender. It’s not a bad pen for the price but you get what you pay for. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money on a better pen or buy something cheaper. A cheap alternative that’s very reliable is the Pilot G-2 Penstylus. I currently stick with the Pilot for everyday carry and it’s never failed me unless it ran out of ink. Overall the Atomic Bear Defender is a decent pen and likely a good gift for others. If you want something good for everyday carry or need reliability I suggest you look elsewhere.TLDR: It’s an okay pen but you get what you pay for. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money to buy something better or spend less and stick with plastic.

Perfect for WRITING ;)
As a young woman in Canada, there’s an issue that I (and many other women) face, of not being able to find writing tools that won’t get you in trouble with the writing regulators. Since carrying anything that could be considered a writing tool is legal in Canada, it is very crucial for people who want to be ready for any circumstances with writing disputes to be prepared with the proper writing equipment. Equipment that won’t get them in trouble with the writing regulators because they can tell them that it is purposefully meant for writing, which it is of course! Completely unrelated to the previous statement: the glass breaker is incredibly strong and could definitely break through glass and cause serious damage on a car window if you ever get in a car accident. It serves as a perfectly functional, explainable, and legal writing + car accident survival tool which is fantastic for those worried about writing disputes + car accidents in Canada.

Sehr guter Stift

Love it
It arrived quickly, very high-quality build, and looks great. The only thing I wish is that the instructions gave a little bit more detail as to how to insert the ink stick.

Was a gift and it made him happy!
I gave this as a gift but did get to see it. It seems rather decent! Looks good, nice weight. No we didnt try to break glass with it (sad face) lol but he was very happy with it and says he will keep it in his truck. The bonus to this one over others is it has the stylus as well which is really nice. Great tool for the price.
