Oster Simple Blend 100 10-Speed Blender with Blend and Go Cup, Black

I've used this blender maybe a dozen times or so, mostly making smoothies in both the big jar and to-go cup and I haven't had any issues at all with it! It only leaked a tiny bit once, I think I didn't have one of the parts screwed on all the way but it wasn't a big deal at all and hasn't leaked since. The to go cup is so so easy to use. I literally just make my smoothie, throw on the lid and go. I did have that slight burning rubber smell the first few times I used it but it wasn't so much so that I was worried about it, and it's fading more with every use. Cleaning all the parts is a breeze and it's overall so easy to use. Fits great on my counter in the corner and isn't ugly or tacky! I would definitely recommend this blender as both the price and quality are perfect for me.

I am so happy I got this instead of a food processor! And for $19.99 it was a steal! The blender has high and low settings, depending on what you want to do with it, and can also grate, blend, pulse, grind, chop, liquefy, whip, ice crush, and mix. Originally I bought this so I could make big batches of homemade baby food and smoothies, but my husband decided to make frozen coffee in it. It was a complete dream. Later the same day I used it to make cracker crumbs in order to make meatloaf. It was great!The blender has a 700 Watt motor, the blending blade is very sharp so BE CAREFUL, and the actual blending container is made of plastic. I prefer this because I am a klutz, and eventually I will drop this thing on the floor, so I wanted something that could survive a fall. All in all, very pleased with this product.

I bought this over the summer and I am really happy with my purchase. I use the blender at least a few times a week, if not more than that, and it works perfectly. My only complaint is that the cup that comes with it has a top that is really hard to open. I mean REALLY hard. I never close the top all the way because it's so difficult to open and I'm afraid I'll break it. When I first got it I had the cup full and I was afraid everything would spill when I got it open. One time my boyfriend washed the cup for me and closed the top when it was dry because he didn't know how difficult it was to open. Now my boyfriend is really strong, works out at the gym all the time, etc. Even he had a hard time opening it and it took a few minutes. He was afraid he was going to break it, too. But other than that this product is great. 4 stars because of the cup.

I have had this blender for 3 weeks and it does exactly what I wanted it to do - makes great smoothies from fresh fruit every morning. I have used all kinds of fruit and not small diced pieces - apples, peaches etc I cut 4 big pieces around the core and throw them in along with berries, grapes, banana (I break into 3-4 pieces), handful of kale, spinach and about 4 oz. of juice/water/milk/lemonade whatever I want.I use the crush button to get things started - takes about 10-15 seconds to blend it all together - no pushing anything down, no wiggling the blender and the stuff I put in is usually 3/4 of the way up the container.After getting the fruit "crushed" I switch to a low blend setting while I go into the freezer and grab the ice - let it run for 30 seconds or so to really smooth out the fruit and then stop while I throw in 10-15 cubes of ice. Again I use the Crush button and the ice is gone FAST - maybe 15 seconds.I turn it on high blend while I am putting away the ice and other stuff (maybe 30 - 60 seconds) to make sure the ice is incorporated and I am done. Fills up the 24 oz cup it comes with (it is really nice!!) with about 8 - 12 oz left for the wife in the fridge for when she gets up. For the price I couldn't be happier - I do not review many things but felt like this deserved it.I used frozen fruit once with liquid - it didn't work as well but I think since the juice from the frozen fruit wasn't immediately available I should have used more liquid - but still it made the smoothie with a little help from a spatula and adding more liquid after the original crush was perfect.

This would be a 4 or even 5 star for me, but there are a few fundamental issues, mainly with the blend cup.The problem is the drink lid. And there are multiple issues which make it nearly unusable. First, the lid is extremely difficult to open. I was worried I was going to break it the first time I tried because it was so stuck on and it hasnt gotten any easier after a few dozen openings. The second, it's not sealed at all. I shook it a bit only to discover this fact water leaking out the top. So it's not even a great to go cup. And the third problem with the to go cup lid is the spout. It's very poorly formed to encourage the person to drink with their lips on the spout. But there's no secondary hole for air so you have to suck your drink out, like if you put your lips over the top of a bottle. While it is convenient to put the cup directly on the blender and not need to pour it into a different cup, It's an extremely poor design and unless there's a different compatible lid you can order, just get the blender and buy a separate cupThe only other problem i have it with the blender's jar (or whatever it's called). This isn't too bad, but the jar feels like very cheap plastic. It's too light, too thin and it says it's dishwasher safe but I wouldn't trust to put it in a dishwasher too many times. I dont know if I'd be too worried about putting something solid in it like ice, but i'd be a bit hesitant and not surprised if it ended up getting crack from over use with something solid like ice or if I dropped.So it's a flimsy plastic jar and a defective designed to-go cup, but it does what it needs to well enough.

I prefer a glass pitcher. Too expensive for plastic.

Muy buena calidad. Buenos detalles y tritura hielos al instante. Y el vaso que está de agregado sella muy bien y super útil.
