Bright display
I love everything about this watch. For one, it looks fantastic. Can be dressed up or down, worn in whatever the occasion. The face is small. Quite dainty, in fact - definitely made for a woman's wrist. But the numbers are large.Secondly, the display is sharp and bright - unlike a lot of digital watches these days. When needed, the EL light is very luminescent. The only thing I haven't tested is the waterproofing; I'll just have to see about that when I am out in the rain. When researching which digital watch to buy, my biggest concern was how bright the display is and how easy it is to see in low light. I saw many watches with the display barely bright enough to see indoors without having to activate the EL light. And who wants to do that every time you look down to see what time it is? Not me. So I scanned through all the photos I could find to try to ascertain the display quality. I chose this watch because it has the light background with black numbers clear enough to see. I am happy to report: without a shed of hesitation, I can state that this display is perfect. You shouldn't have problems viewing the time at all in low light. The key is to get a digital watch that has a light-colored background and black numbers. Much easier to read than a black background with light color numbers. Recently, I bought watch for my friend that has a black background. Big mistake. That watch's cream numbers are almost invisible indoors. Never again. The dual time feature will come in handy when I travel out west to visit various National Parks in different time zones. When we cross over into the new time zone, I will simply switch to the alternate time mode. And easily switch back when we return. The provided instructions were clear and easy to follow. Zero problems getting it set up and scrolling through all the modes.I haven't worn a digital watch in decades; they didn't seem stylish or sophisticated enough. I only got this one to wear on hikes because of it's waterproof feature and it is cheap enough that I don't care if it gets banged around out in the field. However, given how nice this watch looks, I am now a digital watch convert. I would buy this watch again in a heartbeat. And probably will at some point so I am glad this one comes in different colors. I have found my new favorite watch.

This Watch That Has My Back
I read a review from someone reporting that the version of this watch that had more rubber connecting the watchface to the watchband had broken, and that the stainless steel one was a more sturdy bet.I don't know about the alternative, but my watch is definitely sturdy. It still looks shiny with barely a scratch on it, even though I've put it through a lot. I wasn't expecting a watch to be this good, especially since I'm a poor college student and very frugal. I needed a watch because I always lose track of time, and I tend to be late for things. Now I proudly have a watch tan, because I rarely take this watch off. It's very comfortable, and it can be worn for exercise, lounging around, in a professional setting, and in some dress-up settings. The backlight is cool because the light is in the black of the numbers, not the background. I hope that makes sense. It's very convenient, effective, and unobtrusive to check in a dark room.I've also used this watch as a travel alarm. I wear it to bed, and I can check the time at night by groggily finding and pushing the button on the bottom right. The beeps of the alarm are also not obnoxiously loud- so if it goes off in public it's not too disruptive- but it usually wakes me up just fine.I'm also the type that doesn't like to read manuals. With this watch, that was okay. With only four buttons (one of which only is for turning on the cool backlight), I could figure out how to change the time (with daylight savings time, time zone changes, syncing it with the clocks at school, or making my watch fast after being frustrated with always being late for things). I also figured out how to use the stopwatch, set one or two alarms, switch to 24-hour time or AM-PM time (in Iceland I switched to 24-hour time so I was in sync with the country around me). I am not saying that EVERYONE can figure it out; I'm saying that for the way that I think, I was able to figure it out and get used to it. I use all of the features, and I don't ever feel the need for something that isn't on my watch.Often I forget to take off my watch when I go swimming, when I garden, etc. Luckily, this watch hasn't faltered in any situation that I've put it in. For example:cold New England salt water- swimming, etc.working with compost / with soilthe showerhot tubs (up to 44 degrees Celsius)swimming poolssleepingmudthe Blue Lagoon (in Iceland)Hvergerði (natural hotspring on a small river in Iceland)falling down (which I do a lot because I have narcolepsy with cataplexy)hiking, snowshoeing in New Englandhiking in Iceland (in rain or shine, in hail, in cold, in hot, etc.)I recommend this watch to everyone- whatever age, as long as you can see the numbers on the watch- it's well worth every penny.

Great Product
Very pleased! This watch has worked well for over a year. It is the perfect size, looks good and has a soft, flexible silver colored plastic band that I like. I would definitely again.

broke within a month of getting it
We bought this watch for it's sportiness and durability including water-resistance, but it leaked and broke within a few weeks of wearing. Unfortunately, it was outside of the return time since I got it for my daughter's birthday and kept it a while before giving it to her. The watch band also discoloured very quickly, which wasn't the main issue but could be for someone else.
