Fluke 1000FLT Fluorescent Light Tester, Yellow

The tester seems to work as described so far. It feels good and solid just like every other fluke instrument I own.The reason I'm giving it a four star is because it didn't come with batteries or a case which the packaging indicated was included. This makes me wonder if I got a return. It specifically says that the case is included right on the front of the package. There is also a place where 4 AA batteries go in the molded package.

Kinda to big to carry around as a maintenance person

Works well with neon tube tester, MH,LU type bulbs, t12, t8 I can test to see bulbs are working. Works with any gas filled bulbs I come in contact with so far.UpdateAfter a few uses only thing I usesed it for was to test neon other then that I feel it very inaccurate for ballast testing

Nice solid feel works for testing light bulbs the magnetic or electronic ballest test is kinda of a gimig, if it's not working your going to tear into it and it'll be obvious.The light pin test at the end could be done with a continuity meter and the volt sensor are cheap nowadays.Think id save a few bucks and try the Milwaukee tester.

Bought primary as a ballast checker, distance is not very good and results are conflicting. My older (cheaper) one has much better range and seems more accurate. I have not tried the other features so can’t comment on them.
