Sony MDR-XB30EX Extra Bass In-Ear Headphones

I have a Sony NWZ-E465BLK Walkman and broke my headsets because I live at the gym. I was looking for a replacement for that unit because the headsets that came with it were phenomenal.After reading all the reviews I was convinced that this was the perfect match. I was wrong. The headsets are passable, but to be honest I got better sound out of a pair of Skull Crushers. This is clearly one of Sonys earlier models because their newer headsets have more clarity then these. I don't know what material they used for the wires but it is some of the thickest wires i have ever seen. Honestly the stuff is so thick it is hardly flexible. I have them and they are louder than a average set of earplugs, but i use them in a emergency. If you think i am hating you are wrong. I am such of a Sony customer until I went and bought another MP3 unit just to get the earbuds. As I said phenomenal headphones. One more thing I am not happy with my Bose earbuds either!

The sound produced by these Sony headphones is good, not fantastic. They are probably reasonable for the price, but I do have one hesitation about them. The way they fit in your ear may be good for some people, but I’m not so sure for me. The rubber part seals around the opening to your ear canal, but they do not actually go inside as is the case with the other headphones that I have. This means the Sonys are more prone to fall out and less effective at blocking extraneous sounds.I would put them in the category of things I will use, and should be fine, but will not be repeaters, as I know there are better headphones out there.

I own a pair of Bose Earbuds and Sony EX-300 so I can only compare these headphones to the other two.These headphones have a LOT of bass. If you're looking for bass, these are the headphones. Compared to the Bose and Ex-300 these headphones lack response and higher frequencies.

AMAZING! love the sound and the base, not overwhelming, just right. The sound is crisp and clear and the buds sit in your (my) ear comfortably. The flat cords make it near impossible to tangle the wires. My only complaint is the color, it is more of a brown, if you look close you can tell it is a maroon, but it is far from an easily distinguishable red, but for less the cost than the black pair it was worth it.

I consider myself an audiophile of sorts and i've used many earbud headphones from $10 pair to over $100 pair. this pair has them all beat. excellent frequency range and excellent bass response! hard to find a good pair of earbuds and i usually dont leave feedback for products but i was so impressed with these, i feel compelled to report what a great value these earbuds are. if youre in the market for earbuds, i think you'll be very satisfied with these.

I wanted another set of headphones for my morning bike ride and saw that these had more bass than others. I decided I needed more bass and purchased these. I actually had to reduce the setting on my iPhone to reduce the bass when I used these. It was cool to have this flexibility. I enjoy these for the sound and the comfort of the buds, bud. I would suggest these to most people I like.

Color is a flat brown-red that probably matches nothing. I was thinking it was a deep red, but it's bloody crap. Literally.

Great value for the money.Bass response deep and clean and getting better as they break in. Mids and highs open and crisp. A little bulky at first but got used to them quickly,a good trade off for the deep bass. Very happy with the headphones and were delivered as promised.

Got this earphone @899 Rupees.. Awesome Bass Effect, it will great product by Sony for music lovers..Superb product which can be affordable within 1.5k..

It did not have enough bass as described in the ad. I returned it. The sound quality was mediocre.

Earphones are ok . They have bass but sound quality and volume is low its like bass is overdone upon sounds . Not at all worth the money. I suggest u dont buy these rather then this buy panasonic rphe 125m bass earphones .
