ASTRO Gaming 3AA42-AGH9Y-820 A40 Microphone - Grey

Brought this to replace my husband microphone from his Astro gaming headphones and they fit but it was the wrong color they sent me. So yeah my husband is still using it so he’s satisfied.

Surprised my Buddy that had Astro a40 2013 edition (non TR version) replaced the microphone and sounds great. Wish there was a black version available but other than that it works great no complaints.

The astro gaming boom mic is pretty bad, but everyone knows this. ONLY BUY THIS PRODUCT IF YOUR CURRENT ASTRO MIC HAS A SHORT IN IT. It is perfect if that's what you need it for.

It replaced a broken part and worked well.

Just like every Astro mic, this one won't pick up noise unless you're yelling, with the thing against your lips. Pretty crappy mic for the money. Get something else.
