Amazing Customer Service! Buy 750 pound pull, nothing less and don’t split the pull weight.
Updated: 4/30/21I was not happy with my original purchase of 350# pull; however, I am very happy and changed my rating from 2 stars to a 4 stars because of the awesome customer service I've received. They were willing to refund my purchase but I told them not to worry about it because I understand what it's like to run a small business.I will use the original magnet to pick up metal out of my gardening areas. However, I voiced my concerns over the original product and they responded with a better product suggestion. They agreed to help me and get a better product. I will be ordering the one they are recommending, which is their 750# pull magnet. They showed awesome customer service when a product was not to my expectations. I will be buying from them again.- - - - original review below - - - -I purchased the MHDMAG Fishing Magnet Kit and I was sorely disappointed in it. I took it out and the magnet wasn’t very strong, it’s a combine pull weight of 700+ pounds meaning each side being in the 300# pull weight, which is nothing. I’m going to return this and get a larger and stronger one.

Decent all round USE YOUR IMAGINATION, Many uses for this.
After I replaced a 20-foot length of wall in my basement! I used to pick up nails and screws. Per photos, I used an old jewelry cleaning jar to place the magnet in, so as to keep it clean.. collected about 2 pounds of nails. I then removed the magnet from the jar, and voila! Clean magnet, no direct contact. If using in water it will rust so dry and oil!!! Let's say it's a magnet with a line attached. It is strong relative to the metal it will latch on to. The rest is up to your intelligence.1. If you do not re-knot the line, (at least tighten it up!) A bowline is always good. You will lose it !!2. If you do not like rust.... wax or oil it up before dipping in the river. Then dry after using and re-oil. I hear the plating will easily rust/rub off.If you don't like the hole on the magnet face, rub oil or wax on the threaded screw hoop / insert then fill hole on the other side with a JB weld, (oil/wax will easily release the metal loop). All in all, a good product looking forwards to Playing with soon.Just added another pic... . Moved my fire pit and pulled all the nails out of the ash. Magnet is clean as when I purchased with its container and the nails

Very Weak magnet
I was shocked at how weak this magnet is. I knew it wouldn't be a full 300 pound pull on each side because every company lies but this is ridiculous. I estimate the pull to be around 15 pounds. Besides that the quality of the magnet, rope and gives seems pretty good.

GREAT PACKAGE DEAL!
This is a great little one-stop-shopping option. Please note, it does NOT include red loctite thread locking epoxy as some of the other kits do, I intentionally bought this kit because it didn’t, as I already have loads of loctite, and you only ever use just a dab, and a bottle lasts forever. The magnet picks up carbon steel like a champ, and the two positions with two incuded rings is fantastic. Great value for the money, I’m super happy with my purchase.

I tested it--It lifts only 15 lbs.
I tested the magnet with several different iron plate weights. It can lift 15 lbs, but not 20 lbs. And that's only if you lift it straight up--at an angle, it slides right off. It's the only large neodymium magnet I've ever had, so it seems pretty strong compared to old ceramic magnets, but to claim that this has 880lbs pulling force is an absolute and utter lie. Like I said, it can only lift 15 lbs straight up, but that's it. Haven't found anything but iron-bearing rocks. I honestly doubt that it is strong enough to catch and hold onto anything--any steel that you might find is likely to get knocked off the magnet as it is dragged across the lake bottom. It might work a little better if you're magnet fishing straight up and down. I got this one because I read that some other magnets are too strong and can crush little kids' hands. I let my kids play with it no problem--it could maybe crush a cockroach. Don't waste your money.
