Health Concerns - Rehmannia 8 - 90 Count

My 12-year old Aussie had liver cancer and kidney disease. She was also at the beginning stage of Cushings. We contemplated on putting her down because she was going to pass any day. There wasn't much we could do for her. So my vet gave me a bottle of these to help with her quality of life and if it didn't work, well, we were going to have to make that tough decision. But we were fortunate. These pills worked right away. It gave her some spunk, she stopped having accidents, she stopped gulping water and she was actually playful and wagging her tail. Three months and three bottles later, she got up, ate, went out and did her business, came back in, laid down, went to sleep and never woke up. Rehmannia 8 is close to Rehmannia 6, which is a pediatric formula. Do yourself (and your adrenals) a favor and try it, instead of just giving it to your dog.

We adopted an older dog. Soon after, she was weak, feeble and obviously failing quickly. The Vet's diagnosis was kidney failure. We immediately started her on Rehmannia. Within days she had perked up, was running with the other dogs and had her "attitude" back. That was a year ago and we're still going strong.

My dog suffered from acute renal failure after being sick with a Leptosporosis infection. My dog (8 years old) was diagnosed with acute kidney failure. A friend told me to check out Chinese Herbal Medicine as they have some herbs and tonics that support kidney function. I really cannot speak to what the drug does. What I have observed though, is that the appetite came back and that (much to the vet's surprise) her levels (I forgot which ones) improved a bit. This was more than I hoped for. I don't know if this medicine does anything but I don't think it did any harm. My dog gets one tablet a day.

Unfortunately this item came too late for my 12 year-old Lab, who died on November 1st with liver and kidney failure. The bright side: been using it on my 12 year old cat who steals food from my new puppy, and he seems to be healthy. I was afraid the high protein would hurt his kidneys, but his labs came back normal
