Great metric drill bit set. 25 pieces including sizes 1.0mm, 1.5mm, 2.0mm, 2.5mm, 3.0mm, etc..., 13.0mm. This HSS set comes in a steel drill index. Performs well under various operating conditions. A note about the switch from a steel index to a plastic one: We were skeptical when we first heard our supplier was switching to a plastic index, but when we saw it we realized it is actually an improvement. The new index has a nice sliding lock, it's size markings are much clearer, the drills are easier to remove and replace and it is very durable. The bottom line is we would have switched suppliers if we didn't think this was an improvement, and we feel you will be happy with it.

Disappointed in Amazon on this one
What I received was not from MSTC. Amazon made a mistake and lumped different sellers together under this listing. What I received did not come with the extras that at the time were advertised with it. When I complained to the seller (Not MSTC) she told me Amazon was incorrectly lumping her product with MTSC's, and she was having difficulty getting them to correct it (it finally was corrected). Although she went out of her way to provide me the missing item, it was the wrong item. I'm disappointed with Amazon on this one.The drill bits seem okay for my usage so I kept them.

They work and are priced nicely. Just are not high grade.
Bits used and how: The 5mm, 6mm, and 7mm so far. I used a battery powered hand drill when drilling. When using these bits I didn't press hard and was careful not to catch or break them.Precision: I was hoping for a tight friction fit. Tight enough so that I would have to use a reamer to finish my holes, but I didn't. The tolerances are close enough to work and fit well. however, don't expect a fiction fit after drilling by hand. Perhaps if I used them in a drill press I could get a friction fit.Manufacturing: The color of the bits various from grey blue to a plum purple/brownish. Machining marks on the bits vary. They feel light.Overall: They work and got the job done for me. If I need more precision I will try them in a drill press. If that doesn't work I'll buy a more expensive bit.No huge complaints, cheap price (25 bits for 40$, slightly less than 2$ a bit), organized metal case (that's labeled for bit size), and the bits themselves are labeled. I imagine these will serve their purpose for the average DIYer.

Great Set Great price
I received this today an it is a true metric set unlike the other post that says its not.Maybe they didn't have the right equipment to really measure it accurately. The drill bit set I received is also made in USA. Yes, Made in the USA!I did not receive the screw identifier card they say they would include with the purchase, but for the price I'm not complaining. I can measure a screw with out it.

25 pc. Metric Drill Set by MSTC
This the best metric drill set I have ever purchased and the price is a steal! I highly recommend it.

Nice set of drills
Some of the smaller bits (1, 2mm) came broken, but the folks at Bisco responded quickly to my inquiries and replaced the two broken pieces for me. Three stars for the product, but 5 stars for the service from Bisco.

Metric drill set
Drill set was delivered promptly. It comes in a metal case that looks to be of the same quality as a standard drill case I have that is approximately 60 years old. As for the drill bits, only time will tell.

Drill Index Review
The package arrived in a timely manner as shown by the tracking. It was a gift for my son and he has used it and is very happy with it. Your listing for a metic index was a rarity because many of the large machine equipment suppliers didn't list them.KK

Not true metric
These are not true metric drills. They are not suitable for precision work that involves fitting metric machine parts. For example, the "5mm" drill actually measures 4.95 mm: a hole drilled with it will not go onto a true 5mm shaft.
