Catamount Glassware Graduated Measuring Cup from 1/4 to 1-1/2 Cup

A little science look in the kitchen. Used once and noticed a slight chip on spout after dishwasher cleaning. Hope it does not crack in the future. For the high price I expected a little thicker glass and no chips. If i had noticed the chip before use I would have returned it. Check yours upon delivery close and keep packing until washed once.

Purchased 2 different brands of glass measuring cups. This one is much better, as the lines and measurements show no signs of wearing off from use. The other type I bought wore off in a couple months. My one criticism is that I wish the glass were a bit thicker, especially the handle, but we have not had any breakage.

This is a great measuring cup as long as you only need to measure in quarters. The picture shows both quarters and thirds, but the product that was delivered does not have thirds. Unfortunately, that is what I needed, and it's the only reason I ordered the product.

I like this glass, it is hard to break. Only wish the ink used to make the measuring markings was more permanent. After being repeatedly put in the dishwasher, they do disappear over time.

This product does not match the photo. It does not have 1/3 or 2/3 cup markings as shown in the photo. Sadly, the two I owned before this (and loved!) broke, but they both had the third markings. I'm disappointed.

Some of the numbers came off as I hand washed it for the first time. I'll have to use it as I'm 400 air miles from the nearest store that has something better.

it's light and good-looking. Easy to use. The only defect is the degree scale seems not so accurate ( I compared it with other measuring cup).

My husband has a science lab and said their beakers were made of borosilicate glass and the measurement markings never wore off. So I spent the extra money on this measuring cup thinking it would last a lot longer than my Pyrex after years in the dishwasher. I would have done better to spend little on a pyrex and replace as necessary. The markings on this one are now a very light blue after only a half dozen rounds in the dishwasher. They are very hard for 50+ year old eyes to see. The Pyrex lasted at least 5 years before I had trouble seeing the lines. And Pyrex lines are in red - much easier to see than light blue.
