A great chromebook that does everything well.
Here's what i like about this chromebook: The exterior is solid and built to last. The keyboard feels great. The screens update quickly. Video stream quality is very good. Plenty of speed for basic gaming. Plenty of battery life. It does everything well. My only beef is the sound volume. The sound is fine if you are right next to the computer but if you want to listen to something a few feet away then it is hard to hear at the highest setting. A $20 speaker solves that problem but that is my only complaint.

Nice size and power
Works great for middle school and highschool homework. Thought it was touch screen, but oh well for the price, I ain't mad.

Decent for education but the screen quality is mediocre
My 2 boys (2nd grade and kinder) received school/ISD-issued chromebooks for home learning during this pandemic. While we were grateful for the loaner chromebooks, their 11 inch screen with low resolution screen was hard to use for young kids (hard to click tiny answer boxes and etc.). So I decided to invest and purchased 2 of these. While both units looked the same, the chargers were different. One allows you to connect/remove the USB-C cable from the charging adaptor while the other one was one piece charger+cable. The 15.6 screen was large and it was a huge improvement from the 11 inch Chromebook. However, I have to admit the color was so dull even at the maximum brightness. Since this is a Samsung product, I guess I was expecting a great color quality. If the screen quality was better, I would have given this a 5 star.Additionally, this is not a touchscreen model. The school/ISD issued loaner chromebooks had touchscreen feature which was nice. However, I would choose the larger screen over the tiny touchscreen anytime for kids school works. If it was for me, I might choose a slightly smaller screen for portability.Overall, I think this is a great buy if you are OK with a mediocre screen and not having a touchscreen feature. I think this one deserves 3.5 stars but I rounded up to 4.

Trust me….
This is my second Chromebook. Not perfect but really really good.If the screen could get brighter it might be perfect. Also there was some unpleasantness with my last Chromebook so get a protective case, trust me; I’ll just an internet stranger. $17 in a case will face you $170 in a new Chromebook.

Awesome laptop at excellent price.
I'm not designing rocket engines or playing video games. So all I need is a smart, basic machine. For about $200 you can't beat this Samsung Chromebook

Warranty is NOT as described -- 6mos. vs. 12mos.
I bought this Chomebook in Dec 2022. It worked until May 2023 and then died. Samsung tech support could not fix it over the phone, so I sent it to them UPS. Samsung says my warranty expires at the of May 2023, so it is covered but just barely. The description says it comes with a one-year warranty, but Samsung tells me mine expires after 6mos.I also think the screen quality is much inferior to that of other vendors. Samsung is known for it's quality television displays, so the low quality Chromebook display is a major disappointment. There are many better Chromebook vendors. I would NOT buy this Samsung product again.

Samsung screen should be better
This replaced an ACER Chromebook that was getting old and slow and Google said it would not long get automatic OS updates. We really only use this for simple browsing, shopping and other basic tasks. It's on the counter in the kitchen. Overall the unit is nice, fast and a good value. However, the old ACER screen is much better. I expected more from this Samsung as I have 2 TVs of that brand and smartphone. This screen's color, crispness, contrast and so on is simply not Samsung worth and we will likely return fro a different model. The 6 year old ACER is much better (whiter whites and deeper blacks and just better clarity and crisp images). The Samsung colors and resulting images are far to blue, hazy and and just lack that "pop" off the screen that we expected. Appears Samsung chose a much cheaper display to drop in. And with a Chromebook, the user has very few tools in Display settings to make meaningful changes.
