These stoppers work well on wine bottles or bottles that don't contain carbonated drinks. I bought them for wine bottles, so I am happy with them. They do the job.

Love these! I got them to use in place of putting the cork back into the wine bottle, and they work great! Easy to get in and out, simple looking, just what I wanted.

I was worried that drinks would still leak out of these stoppers, but they don't! They're easy to pull out of the bottle and nothing leaks even when laying the bottles down in the fridge. Will probably purchase more!

We can never finish the bottle of wine with just one meal. It is nice to use these to preserve the wine so it stays fresh.I saw these kind of stoppers at the liquor Store for 3 times the price. This is a good deal.

This fit the wine bottles that i had and is much easier than trying to shove the cork back in. When i accidentally knocked over a wine bottle, the stopper stayed in and i did not spill my wine... whew!

The title of my review says it all.I’m currently taking apart my fridge and washing every shelf and every item by hand because they soaked in some delicious sparkling white wine. I recall hearing a “POP” from my kitchen around 2 am and didn’t think anything of it. It turns out that noise was pressure building back up in my bottle of wine and popping off this wine stopper. As a result, my fridge suffered what the cool kids like to call, a “champagne shower”.It’s not the products fault, I should have used common sense but at midnight after a few glasses of wine, high school chemistry was not on my mind.These stoppers have been wonderful for my reds and non-sparkly white wines, however. I can store the bottles on their side all night without a single drop leaking.This review is just a warning for anyone who decides they want to use this product on anything with bubbles. Just don’t. No one else needs to do the scrub of shame.Anyways, I have to go. The BAC of my fridge is well over .08 right now and there’s plenty more scrubbing to do.

I always read the reviews before purchasing and on these bottle caps the complaints are that because the cap has a stainless steel insert at the top to grip when removing from the bottles, water tends to leak into the hollow part of the cap between the stainless steel part and the flexible portion when washing. So, knowing this from the review, I use my common sense as a structural engineer and don’t soak them completely in dish water....sure there is a chance water may leak in around the two different materials -stainless steel gripper and the flexible portion if you drown them in water to clean them...DUMMY. I hold the stopper from the opposite end of the stainless steel gripper and run clean water from the kitchen facet over the stopper with the steel portion facing down so clean water runs right over the end and off ....and because of gravity, no chance for the running water to enter. Works great for me...so always read the reviews.

Have not used while the bottle sits on the side yet but it works.

If you put bottle sideways it leaks would be OK if sat upright. Waste of money as don't have shelf in door

They tend to pop in the fridge when used on Champaign, but I did manage to get to to work by using the original wire that was there with the original cork. Great for everything else.
