I don’t remember where I read about Revlon Gel Envy polish, but the idea of no longer getting gel manicures won me over. As a skeptic, though, I ordered one bottle of polish and a bottle of the diamond top coat to try them out. I painted on one coat of color, let it (air) dry, then painted on the diamond top coat. Amazing! I wore these products for a week, traveling and painting and packing/unpacking and not a chip did I see. When I returned home I took out my regular old nail polish remover and, voila! Took the polish right off. I did have to rub a bit harder, but no damage to my nails. Love it! Have already recommended it to 4 or 5 friends, and I am a fan!

The bottle I received has a peculiar smell

I had a person who owned a nail salon tell me this Revlon Top Coat was the best thing next to an actual gel nail manicure. Being a Nurse, we can’t wear nail polish or have long fingernails. As they poke through gloves.But over a long weekend or vacation I love to do my own nails and toenails. This will make your polish last 2-3 times longer. GREAT PRODUCT! Most stores around me stopped carrying it, why I don’t have a clue?

This is a nice hard and very high gloss top coat. And my tests show that it can go on over other brand polishes that are non gel like, as long as you have the color coat good and dry. But using the nail system from Revlon, it all stays on my wife's nails ( I do her nails for her) 7-8 days, then chips. We will try a base coat next, though you're not supposed to need one. Anyway, this top coat is very smooth and high gloss.

Lasts slightly longer than traditional top coat. Thick consistency leads to chipping later.
