****UPDATE 12/10/16*****One morning I found my case to have failed overnight, so I had posted a review remarking on the failure, and that I had owned it for less than a month... The product manufacturer contacted me immediately after my initial review. This company went the extra mile to make me a happy customer! I must say they made the whole experience painless and as easy as possible! They sent a new case, and a return label for the failed product even! The whole exchange left me satisfied! I had low expectations due to prior experiences with online retailers, however, these people really rose above the average retailer and went the extra mile to ensure I was happy with their product! The new case they sent works like a charm! It must be the nature of my phone that makes it get hot when charging whilst in a confined case, that did not change at all with the new case they sent, therefore a four star rating is deserved in my opinion... If they could incorporate a way to vent the phone back to air somehow, I think that problem could be slightly lessened... Just a thought... Other than that, this company is absolutely fantastic, and very easy to work with should a problem arise!

the LED indicator light on the back is WAY too bright. When charging at night it's constantly blinking and lighting up my whole room, I have to leave it on the foor on my carpet for it to hide it enough. The silky feeling coating feels nice at first, but then u quickly realize how ridiculously slippery it is. Also for some reason it takes really long to charge, the claimed MAH is more than a full charge for an iphone 5s so i'd understand if it takes a bit longer to charge, but it's around x1.5 to x2 longer with the same charger, AND i never get more than ~60% replenishment to my iphone before the battery pack dies.I got it for ~$30 and for that I would say it's decent enough, it works, but if there was a $60 premium option which fixes all of these issues I would much rather have that.

Everything good people are say about this charger is true. It a bit hard to take off but if it wasn't it might slip out! I currently ha two that I use on my iPhone SE. I take off one in the morning and swap it for the one that was charging overnight. Never ever run out of power and I use my phone a lot, all day. I do recommend that you turn it off now and then and let the iPhone work off it's internal battery also. I did have one battery expand and push my face plate up away from the case. The guy said that was from letting it charge constantly. Which is not good.Good job UNU! It would be nice to have things that make the buttons easier to operate through.

I've been using this case for about a year now. It works really well. It's a very solid, protective case and provides ample recharging capability. My 5s can barely hold a charge for more than a few hours these days and this case has been a lifesaver for me, especially since I travel and am on the move quite a bit. Well worth the money. As a bonus, it charges with a regular micro-SD plug instead of the Apple plugs. No problems with "this accessory may not be supported" messages that Apple loves to build into updates to prevent 3rd party chargers. Great phone case.

Said it was supposed to be able to charge your phone multiple times. Can’t even get an 80% charge out of this thing. Says your phone slides out of the case. They put no easy way to takeyour phone out. I had to use a nice resulting in my phone being scratched up but finally out of the case. Had to cut up the case quite a bit just to make it easier. But I still have to use TOOLS to get my phone out of the case. Honestly this case sucks way more than I thought it was and it was a huge disappointment. But, I will say it is a fine thing to use until you can afford a good power bank/ external battery and charger.UPDATE. A week of using the case and it doesn’t hold a charge at all. Won’t even charge. Just threw it away. This is garbage

Good: I really like the look, feel and material of this charger. It makes a thin and slippery phone feel real solid in my hand. The finish is smooth but has enough grip to not slide off a smooth surface when set down. Seems to provide good protection for the phone. I'm not wild about fiddling with the earphone extension but it works well.Bad: Charging function doesn't hold up. First one lasted about seven months of frequent use. The seller was good to replace it under warranty. The new one fared better but it too has now failed after about 14 months.

The case did not fit as expected. It never really seemed to snap together most times and when successful, it still left gaps. Most times I had to try multiple times to get the top piece lined up 'just right' or it wouldnt go together at allI charged the battery to full and off I went running down my phone to teat the recharge. Ran phone down to 8%, kicked in battery and it charged me back to 100% in around 3hrs. Ran down again to about 40% and my phone reset itself...strange.... Kicked in the battery to charge again and it got me back to about 80% before battery died.The indicator on the back of the battery case is VERY bright. I leave my phone plugged in on the night stand and use an alarm app. The indicator makes that impossible as my room was filled with a nice glow like living next to a neon sign. The fact the case was so difficult to put together and take apart (felt like i was going to break it) disassembling the phone from case every night was something i didn't want to do.If you ever get the thing together, don't mind small gaps, don't mind the indicator glow in your room at night, and need about 1.4 charges to your phone, this is the case for you

My son bought this case and it isn't very protective. Yes you did in cases your phone and yes it comes with a stick on glass cover… But the case seems thin and he is much more careful with it now then when he had his OtterBox case on it. The outside had a nice, tacky texture to it… But now that he is wearing off quickly. The battery portion seems to work great on this case, he really loves it. But the rest of it is just so – so.
