I cannot speak to the cutting performance (hence the 4 stars), but these are properly sized and identified to work with Precision Matthews turning kit that is generally advertised with their smaller lathes (the 1020 and 1030).That, for now, is good enough for me. If they cut, then good - if not, then I'll come back and write a more appropriate nasty-gram.

The inserts have a .008" nose rad.They work fine for finishing cuts.On steel 400 sfm on stainless 350 sfmThis carbide has a tendency to chip. Use for continuous cuts only.
