Lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus) Fresh Premium (8) Stalks

The media could not be loaded. I could have planted even more from the six sent; however I wanted these to be fuller sooner. I planted them in a pot initially for the first two weeks until they started to take off and then into the Arizona ground. These keep mosquitoes away and make for fine brewed lemon tea.

I got these plants to repel insects around my porch, not to cook with, so I have no information on how they taste in food. But, I was very pleased with the arrival of the plants: they came priority, all plants were alive and I started them in a pot to get them established. They now border my porch and I have seen fewer mosquitoes since they appeared. I am happy with the plants' health and survival.

Orders twice from this seller. 100% good quality lemongrass ready to be planted. All did very well in Florida Sandy & mix soil with good drainage, added planting soil & almost full sun.

Absolutely excellent! They arrived a day early (which I didn't realize, so the poor things sat in a cardboard box a day longer than they had to). They were about .5" to 1" thick, and literally within a *day* had new growth coming out. Even straight out of the box they looked exceptionally good, considering they'd been in a box for at least a week! They shipped in some damp wood chips to keep them fresh, in a bag. Absolutely excellent. I highly recommend this seller!

I’m so pleased with these! I received 9 stalks in the mail, well packed and protected, and even though they sat in my hot Texas mailbox for over 24 hours they did just fine! I potted them 3 stalks to a pot, with regular potting soil, and they’re doing GREAT! In less than 48 hours there was new growth in the original stalks, a statement after that I had new shoots, and now, one week later, I have lots of new shoots and every single stalk survived and is sprouting. I couldn’t be more pleased. Not to mention that lemongrass is just so satisfying to grow because it grows so quickly. I love these! And this was a great deal. Thanks for such a great product!

I bought these they were infested with ants. Plant them and nothing grew. It’s not worth sending back for a refund because I have to pay for the shipping. I have to spend more money and time going to the post office. I threw them away.

These came nicely packaged w/the perfect moisture content to maintain life. It was a few days before we could get an area prepped to put them in the ground. During those few days, I added a bit of well water to the package so they wouldn't dry out, & put them where they'd get light. By the weekend when we planted them, they had all grown roots up to an inch long. Just a couple weeks after planting them, a Derecho knocked several trees down onto our garden, right where they were planted. I thought for sure we'd lose them, however, once the trees & brush were cleared, they've recovered beautifully. Instructions were included for over-wintering. I plan to transplant one or two to pots for winter, then 'over-winter' the rest. I look forward to my own fresh supply of lemongrass, rather than having to search out a good source each time I need more.
