Sounds really good, but it stopped working after a week, terrible website security
These are really nice headphones and sound great without any external amplifiers. They are compact and seal really well in the ear canal. The bass is very nice as is the clarity in the upper range. The packaging could use some improvement. The cable is looped and then tied tightly in the middle with the drivers in an awkward position in the box. As a result, there 2 kinks close to the driver and one close to the jack. I don't care about the way they look, but the cables touch my face because of the kinks. I have a feeling the kinks may have cause a serious issue. After listening to the headphones for a few hours, the volume in the right driver became lower than the left. I switched the left and right headphone to see if the issue was with my ears; it wasn't. I switched from my Zune to my cellphone and then to my computer. They all sounded the same with the volume slightly lower on the right. I kept listening and the volume kept decreasing until it was unbearable. I decided to return them the next day and wanted to confirm it was the right side that had the issue so I plugged them into my Zune and it worked perfectly.I sent an email to Nuforce support to see if they knew what could have causes that. Instead of taking 2 minutes to answer me, they told me I had to open an account with them and support a warranty claim. After filling out almost 2 pages of information I was able to open an account.FOR ALL YOU SECURITY CONSCIOUS PEOPLE: Nuforce stores passwords in plain text AND EMAILS YOU A COPY! I would not share any important data such as credit card numbers with them if I were you.

good isolation from the silicone earbuds and excellent bass response ...
I had the JVC Xtreme XPlosivs prior to this and was looking to get those again but they had gone up in price from the $15.99 I paid 6 years ago to the $39.99 price now with questionable consistency in quality.I was specifically looking for a set of inexpensive high-efficiency headphones (because those work well on flights, with phones etc without much power), good isolation from the silicone earbuds and excellent bass response - not boomy, overpowering bass, but tight and slightly amplified bass frequency response. When I got these I was doing several A/B comparisons with my JVC Xplosivs and found that the efficiency on the JVC is still one of the best I've seen but the NuForce was no chump. In fact it's better than several other headphones I'd tried in my pursuit of a good replacement. The bass response is excellent and music comes out rich, accurate and balanced to my ears. The bonus is that the cord is flat, does not get tangled as frequently as other cords, and the jack, because of its L shaped connector stays out harms way much better that other earbuds I've had.Overall, this is a wonderful replacement, or an upgrade even, from my JVC xplosivs and I may buy another pair soon.

Spoiled my ears on what to expect in a workout headphone.
I got these specifically for the gym and I say they preform fairly well in that capacity. Not perfect but the sound quality and frequency profile(is that an audio term yet?)overcomes the shortcomings that I've encountered.I've been using them for a couple of months now and they have mellowed a little. When I first tried them, they had a very "u" shaped frequency profile. The bass and the highs were very prominent. You really had to focus to hear the mids come through. After a month or so they have finally flattened out a bit. The mids are still a little low in the mix but there is no struggle to make them out while exercising. The tilted up bass and treble help the energy of the songs coming through so you keep going. They are a bit fiddly though. The cord transmits noise unless I wear them over my ears and they ride deep enough in the ear that when I clench my jaws, it effects the sound. They also don't always stay put as well as I'd like and adjusting the fit is a tiny bit more trouble than my previous pair. However I did take my old pair back to the gym one day just to see how they would compare and they were not up to the task. The NuForce phones just creamed them in clarity, punch, drive, and smoothness. Before I got the NE-600xs I thought my older in ears were halfway decent but now I'm spoiled by these red corded music makers. They sound perfect for the environment that I use them in.5 star sound for this application but the so-so ergonomics knocks a star off. If these were my sole music listening headphones then the ratings would be different. I'm not sure I could love them over the long run for dedicated music duty. Right now I prefer my older sennheiser 485's or the NuForce NE-770x for that.

Failed quickly. They sound really good. Much better bass than a pair of Yamahas ...
UPDATE: I just realized the left side is suddenly less than half the volume of the right. And I'm 3 days past the 30 day return window. I will NOT be buying a second pair. Otherwise... They sound really good. Much better bass than a pair of Yamahas I have. The sound is nice and bright too. The only issue is they don't like to stay in my ears. They often back out from chewing, moving my head, or sometimes all by themselves. I really have to twist them in, to the point that my ears ache after while. I've tried the other sizes of tips but they aren't even close to fitting. My other Yamahas stay in very well. I take those to the gym. These stay at my desk because they'd be useless anywhere else.Another update: The reduced volume on one side went away after a while. But another issue arose where they literally shock my ear drums!!! It's slight, but noticeable, and happens from time to time. I've got Sony set that I think I'll stick with.

Meilleur rapport qualité/prix du marché ! Kit minimaliste mais une fois les embout changés, ces écouteurs produise un son imbatables sur cette tranche de budget.
