The body is styrofoam covered in black hairy cloth. The legs are a fairly thick metal wire wrapped in the same hairy cloth. The legs are able to bend to obtain different positions. They are even firm enough to support the body up off the ground. We had fun with it for the first few days moving it around the house at night trying to scare each other in the morning. I do worry that the legs will someday detach from the styrofoam body as the styrofoam makes all sorts of noises when the spider is moved around. I was able to bend the wire legs around a large web I had purchased separately. It now hangs up in our entryway window and looks great from outside when backlit from an interior light.

I LOVE HALLOWEEN! This is one of my favorite holidays every year, and I'm constantly trying to bulk up on my decor. When I ran across this spider, I knew that this would be the perfect new addition to my spooky family. It is bigger than I expected, which was a pleasant surprise! As I was readjusting the legs, my dog even made a new friend! (They are pictured getting acquainted above.) The material the spider is made out of seems durable enough to withstand Colorado's unpredictable fall weather. This new little guy is going to have a permanent spot on our hearts, and have a full time job as door greeter this Halloween. Definitely recommend.

I liked the price I loved the texture of being soft for kids and also looking more real.First it came without the red eyes then I found them in the plastic package. I just had to glue them again.Good spider size. I'm still trying to open the legs.I guess I never paid attention in how is it so I don't know how to put all 8 legs right. Kkkk

This spider was amazing. We put him on a huge spiderweb in the yard. We had a pretty good storm and it rode it out like a champ. We will use him again next year.He does not look like much but you get the legs unfolded and put into position like a real spider legs should look and he is not too bad. I think he was good for the price since we are going to be able to use it more than one year.

The spider is large but not too large to keep in my room It is easy to hang without additional wires due to how bendable the legs are. There are no hooks or wires provided with the spider. It is of good quality and had no obvious defects although the fuzz fell off easily. The legs seem to have a coat hanger in them that allows them to bend easily to form the exact shape desired though they are not incredibly strong.

My kids enjoyed having this Halloween spider just outside our house this year. It's exactly as advertised.
