BEWARE NO SIM CARD
no sim card. I'm unable to use the phone to give it a better review. I contacted boost mobile customer service to have a sim card sent to me. but for now i can only use wifi available features. I will update more when my sim card comes.my update.... i recieved my sim card the next business day at NO charge. keep the card it come on, you will need the serial number to link to the phone. it will be registered with a different sim card. once you activate your account onlline you will need to dial ##72786#. this is because the phone has been registered previously with a different number.I had previously bought the galaxy j3 for half the price. and really liked it... it's basically the same phone, except for the camera... the j3 camera was horrible if anything in the picture moved.the galaxy s5 is a nice phone. it is gently used. I paid $200 and feel that was a good deal.. the screen and backing in perfect condition, a little bit of wear on the edges, but nothing noticable. it did not come with headphones, or the samsung charger, although it did come with a new charger that works fine.i have a lot on my device, google play books, netflix, waze, roku remote, i love the tv remote, milk music is awesome. The widgets are nice and it's been fun personalizing my phone screens. ok google does just about everything svoice does, and i have both enabled on my phone. there is a lot of things to customize, i learned by going into settings and clicking on everything to see what was available... for instance when on charge my phone displays a pretty "colors" screen... i did this to help me find my phone at night when it's on the charge. I havn't watched any movies yet... but i do use milk music and amazon music... (i have prime) both are nice. milk music works more like a radio station. good sound. decent for a phone anyways.the battery is nothing compared to my previous iphone5c... i will have to get use to this... but with that said, there are a lot of apps on this phone that i use. surfing the web really drains the battery.I just got the phone set up and havn't made but one call with it..so i decided to knock one star for the hassle of having to get the sim card... and no directions on how to get the phone reactivated.and minus one star for not having the original charger. I also felt that it was not clear that this was a used phone. i was thinking like the J3, it would be new in package.overall I am happy with this phone. if the camera isn't as important to you i would highly reccomend the galaxy J3 for almost $100 less than this one with out the hassles and being new and it being ready to activate out of the box.

Love it, but Hate the screen size!
When I got this phone I fell in love. I have had Samsung Galaxy 2S and 3S and also owned a Iphone 4 and 5S. When I got the 5S I loved it. It is fast and a bad ass phone, but I don't like the size. It is too big. I thought the 3S was big, but the 5S is over the top huge. It is hard to take out and go for a run/walk and listen to music because it is so big in my hand while carrying. And I can't really put it in my pocket without being afraid it will fall out. I just don't like that. And I guess that is more personal taste. One more thing is because it is so big I feel like I am always accidently pressing buttons, like for example if the phone is up to my ear, my face/ear will rub up against on of the buttons like end call, or the keypad. Or when when I'm just messing around in my phone that happens as well. And that's basically because of the size of the phone. I don't like where the power button is. It is not right at the top of the phone on the right. It's slightly down from the top, not quite in the middle on the right side. I'm just so used to it from previous phones being at the top.The good is basically everything really, the phone is very customizable and really fast. I don't really have any complaints on it in terms of usability. The things I heard complained about is the back of the phone cover because it looks like a golf ball. In my opinion, the back isn't as ugly as the pictures make it out to be and the back cover is really smooth in your hand, a really good grip. It feels nice. And then the slot where your charge goes, it has a cover. I don't like having to open and close the cover when and after I charge my phone, but you get used to it and I have gotten used to it. So it's no problem. All and all. It is a pretty damn good phone. It's probably better/stronger than the S2 and S3. It's just I would love to love this phone and the screen size be the same size as the S2. Based on that I won't be keeping this phone because of the screen size. It's just too big for me. I'll be going back to the Iphone.

Very nice phone upgrade! Highly recommended.
Great phone! Got the old phone (LG Optimus Elite) switched out on VirginMobile via thier web site with no issues using the "swap phone" option. It went through a few updates and then was good to go. Very fast and responsive. The newest Android OS is nice - I am a Mac computer fan and owner, but I have never owned an iPhone. This is my second Android phone and I really like all that you can do with it - like any OS you learn how to get around in it, etc. I like to tweak things so all the customization and layout options on Android are fine with me!. The phone screen is really clear and bright - I actually run it at about 30% brightness. The battery life is quite good - it typically lasts a whole day on one charge and I use the phone for both work and personal stuff. It charges much faster with the new USB 3 charger - I have used an old USB 2 charger on a few occassions and it is a bit slower to charge as expected but at least you can put those old chargers (in car, etc) to good use with this phone. 4G is fast where available (at home I get 3G which is still nice, near work/city I get 4G and you can certainly tell the difference). I thought the phone (phablet?) might feel a bit too big after the Optimus, but I got used to it right away and can use it one handed in most cases. I really don't think about the size now and my old phone felt very small last time I picked it up. This phone reconnects to my regular WIFI locations very well (at home and at work where the SSIDs are hidden - my old phone would not easily reconnect to hidden SSIDs). The camera is very nice - I have received several nice comments on photos taken with the phone - they are impressed with the picture clarity and colors. I have not tried all the camera features yet...Call quality and experiense is great - I use it for work a lot, spending hours at a time on conference calls, etc. and it is very solid. Paired it with my old bluetooth ear piece with now issues. Overall I am very pleased with this phone! I highly recommend it!
