Works great, good value
I have an older Genie PMX500IC/B opener on my garage and the solder joint broke for the battery connection on the one and only factory remote I had. I got tired of getting out of my car, closing the door and doing the skip/hop dance over the safety laser (first world problems). I found these remotes on Amazon, and was a little nervous they wouldn't work, because I had to cross-reference the OEM part number with another cross-reference chart to match up with this remote, but they worked perfectly, and I was able to program both of them in less than 5 minutes with the "learn" button on the back of the opener. Make sure to start with the door shut, hit the learn button on the opener, then the button on the remote. Then use the remote to open and close the door, and repeat for the second remote. Now I have two new remotes for less than half the cost of a single OEM remote. Amazon for the win!

One button remote worked perfectly
I have a genie intellicode garage door opener and needed an extra garage door remote for some family that will be staying with us for a little bit. It's hard to choose but I took a chance on these and so far they were perfectly. Programming was easy just look up the instructions on the web or go by the little included sheet But I prefer to go by with the official genie instructions I found on the web. These are actually pretty small but they do come with a nice clip or an option to put them on the keychain.

Easy to pair, just right size
I have an older Génie model PMX5001b/c. The older Genie remote that came with our house was very sporadic and if you didn’t touch the button just right…I got tired of constantly exiting the car to manually enter the code. I looked at this and saw that someone with my same model had purchased it and found it easy. Yes, it is. It took no more than 3 minutes to program both remotes. I am very happy and have already recommended it to my neighbor. I also appreciate its smaller size and put one on my keychain.

Works like OEM remote
I first tried buying a pair of Genie-branded Intellicode remotes but had this purchase fail due to logistical problems in their fulfillment contractor. I then tried this product for a fraction of the cost, and found it to be functionally as good as the other. The case does not appear to be as durable, but it programs fine and seems to have about the same range as the OEM remote.

Husband says five stars; Wife says three.
With all the other various purchases that come with buying a house, we had already spent several hundred dollars on having the house rekeyed with new locks and handles so my husband put this choice low on his priority list for quality. He picked the cheapest one.We can tell.We moved into our house and the previous owner didn't have house keys or a garage door opener. (When we moved in, neighbors started to comment they didn't know what our garage door looked like because the previous owner never closed the garage!) We knew we needed a replacement opener fast. They were the cheapest option with the highest number of ratings. They were easy to program. We've lived here almost a year. Don't get me wrong. They're very easy to use and work approximately 90% of the time. In those times, the husband has had to reset them. We still aren't sure why.The other con, which is quite a pain point for me is that we have to literally be in the driveway within 5-10 feet for the opener to register with the garage and open. The range is terrible. I want to be able to open our garage when I'm still two or three houses away so when I pull into the driveway, I don't have to stop and wait to pull into my garage. Nope. Gotta stop and act as if I'm parking in the garage, then press the button and wait for it to open before I can pull the car in.Big negative for me.But husband doesn't park in the garage so he doesn't mind and insisted the overall value for the opener is five stars.Husband says five.Wife says three.

Simple easy to use.
Simple setup. Even works with my old garage door. But kind of loose makes noise when shakes the remote.
