Simple and works really well. Love being able to use rechargeable batteries.
No waiting for the batteries to charge. Run out of juice; just replace a couple batteries. Easy, simple, adjustable lamp... Great for household fix it jobs where the light is just not enough to see what is wrong or what you are doing. For me, an absolutely necessary garage tool. Strongly recommend...

Great Light!
Excellent light for night fishing when a fish is on the hook or re-tying a hook or weight.. Just swipe a hand past the light and it turns on. Swipe it again and it turns off. It gives plenty of light. The red light color would also help if we had a boat power failure as a distress signal. Extra batteries can easily be carried in a boat compartment. No need to worry about a boat having a USB plug.

Excellent Value Product
I own 7 Foxelli headlamps, 2 are re-chargeable. I bought 3 of the battery operated recently, one for my wife, one for my truck, and one for a gift. I really like these units, and I have had many name-brand headlamps over the years).

Nice and sturdy headlamp!
I go through a lot of headlamps as a photographer. This one is solidly built and feels very sturdy. it has a very bright light and nice to have the red light for night time photography. I love the fact that this is waterproof for those sudden storms on the trail. Very nice quality head band accompanies the light. I love that the battery compartment is easy to get to when you need to change your batteries, no tearing the light off of the strap as in some. I would highly recommend these headlamps for anyone. Also, great customer service from Foxelli!

At first look, an excellent light
Received yesterday. Put in batteries, tested controls, everything works as advertised. Controls are easy to use, even with my peripheral neuropathy. The motion sensor feature is an especially nice touch. Comfortable to wear. Thinking about getting a second one.

Very Useful Head Lamp
I bought 6 of these, two at a time, as I kept thinking of family members who would like one in their stocking!

Too weak for practical use
Everything about this headlamp looks good. It even feels fine wrapped around your forehead or baseball cap, but if you're hoping to actually find your way in the dark with it, don't waste your time with this. I took it into the Grand Canyon, and I'm glad I was with other hikers with better light sources. The red setting is total garbage: I could not see even a foot in front of me at night. With the bright setting, I could see enough to get by, but barely. The motion sensing feature works great: it's too sensitive in close quarters, but that's been my experience with any motion sensing headlamp. I used fresh batteries, too. Should have spent more on a higher quality device.
