We got this as a gift for my 4 yr old. He is a great little builder and is always saving household items for his inventions. His older brother got a subscription to Kiwi Crates but there options for little ones looked way to young and unappealing for his skills. We looked all over for something equally exciting for him and found this Hape Junior Inventor kit. He is an avid builder and future aerospace engineer and this excited him so much. We loved that the directions were all pictures. He needed some assistance but i feel like over time he will be able to do it easily. He and his brother spent about an hour playing with it which is a huge deal for him, nothing usually lasts more than a few minutes. I have already looked at several other sets to order, that is how much we loved it.

This toy is so much fun. My son has the workbench version. I buy this kit for all his friends birthdays. I have gotten so many compliments for gifting this toy. It is high quality and is great for kiddos who love to build.

Ordered two separate kits. Both were missing different pieces, and had extra pieces that didn’t belong. We still don’t have a complete set of pieces even combining the two kits. Just, awful.

There are hundreds of items similar to this on the market and this one is by far the best. My husband and I did not want to give my son another toy, we wanted him to have something that makes him think and learn from building. This has so many different openings for him to explore unique scenarios and we are very happy with my sons time being occupied by something educational! Highly recommend this product!
