- Fit: Snug- Sensor openings: All there (not like some of those cases that cover the main microphone)- Profile: Reasonably slim for a case the encloses the edges of the phone.- Feel: Not slippery, slightly tacky (in a good way)- Clarity: Very clear so you can see the logo and color nicely, though does attract finger prints (less visible against white phone, probably)- Screen protector: Not the best but it'll do, since if you're buying this case anytime soon you likely JUST got your phone and want protection now. Very thoughtful inclusion.- Likely protective quality: Medium. It feels quite squishy enough that it would definitely help if the phone was dropped on its edge.- Button access: Excellent. The case does not interfere with quick button pressing. This is especially worth noting as it's still easy to use the feature where you double-press the power button to launch the camera.- Other: I generally don't like cases on my phone but this one seems like a keeper.

I love how it fits and the design is very elegant and functional at the same time! I would buy it again!Update 12/1/2015Case still intact and working great, only bad thing is that I purchased the clear color and it is becoming yellowish :(Update 8/16/2016Case still fits great...My screen broke in February after the phone fell from a small table on the concrete floor. It did not protect it.Also the color is very ugly now, super yellow/brown!

I tried several cases - all activate the Nexus 5x's overly sensitive volume and power buttons way too easily causing accidental volume changes (typically all the way down without me even knowing it). This one does this too, but is the best of the bunch. However, the clear model is apparently subject to yellowing (see pic). I emailed the manufacturer about it (there was the usual "We want your feedback" card in the package). The response:"Thank you for contacting Ringke Store, I see this order was placed in January 2015 unfortunately you have exceed our 90 day warranty and this case can not be replaced. However, for being a loyal customer we would like to offer you a 15% discount on your next purchase of 1 single item. If you would like to take advantage of this please reply back to this email with your new order number." I replied saying "Sure I guess so"; no reply to that, so I actually never got the discount code.I tried 3 others (again) and concluded that this one is the ONLY one I could live with (from an accidental volume change point of view), so I this time I bought the clear one with the black edges, which looks beautiful and works well. I still get accidental volume changes but again, all the others I tried are far worse in this regard. This one also provides excellent drop protection and is easy to take off and put on. It's inexpensive enough that purchasing a new one every several months seems OK to me. All things considered, this case is the one I recommend (in clear/black) despite the manufacturer's marginal bedside manner.

I already had the Ringke Nexus 6P case and after trying out a 5X case with a cute design, i had to go with this Ringke 5X case since the other one's button covers were inset and too hard to reliably press. This Ringke case's button covers jut out like the actual buttons on the phone, making them much easier to press time and again.I've never really tested out the durability of these Ringke cases, as I am very careful with my phones, but I do like the lanyard holes as an extra protection. It'd be nice if that feature was on the bottom of the phone, rather than the side, though (I considered using the small microphone hole and adjacent headphone jack hole as a makeshift replacement but thought better of it LOL). I've re-used Wiimote lanyards I had lying around so I can attach the phone to my wrist, as a precaution. I don't do that regularly, but it's nice to have for some one-handed situations.I do think that the middle piece between the two lanyard holes may degrade over time, but I've tested out fairly violently dropping my phone with the lanyard around my wrist (over my bed), and the middle piece didn't break, and the phone didn't come flying out of the case.Overall, it seems so far like a decent case--I hope it doesn't yellow over time like my Ringke Nexus 6P case has, though.

I really like this case for the Nexus 5. I have used two other cases (one full wallet style case and one Spigen case nearly identical to this one) and this one by far feels the best in the hand. It is softer to the touch and has a neat dust cover for the headphone jack. The button spots are very easy to find by touch unlike most other cases. All cutouts are in the correct locations for the microphones both at the top of the device and at the bottom. The charging slot allows enough space for several sizes of cords. The flash, camera and fingerprint sensor cutouts are also spot on.One thing to note is that there is not very much of a lip on the sides of the screen to protect the device if it falls face down/screen down, however this makes it nicer to use compared to other cases that have a very raised lip around the screen.In addition, this case comes with a template that you can use to cut-out a custom rear cover. You can get very creative if you are into this kind of thing. I purchased the clear because I want to see my device, not cover it up.I will update the review if my device ends up damaged or saved by this case, but so far so good.

Me gustó mucho, la tuve por como un año en el celular que compré, pero no me gusta lo amarillo que se pone la parte del contorno con respecto a la de enmedio, la parte de diseñar la funda tu mismo poniendo un recorte está padre, sin embargo la plantilla para recortar estaba algo fuera de lugar. Lo que más me gustó fue que viniera con un protector de pantalla bastante bueno, se limpiaban las marcas de dedo fácilmente.

Grundsätzlich handelt es sich um eine gute Hülle, die sehr gut am Nexus 5x passt und von guter Qualität ist.Entgegen der Produktbeschreibung und Abbildung im Amazonshop ist aber *keine* Schutzfolie für das Display dabei.Die Anwendungsbeschreibung fällt zu minimalistisch aus und könnte detaillierter sein.Der Preis ist im Vergleich zu Konkurrenzprodukten recht hoch.

Excelente calidad y además viene con un protector para la pantalla que le queda perfecto. El precio en promoción es excelente, lo quería comprar desde hace tiempo pero era algo costosa. La entrega muy satisfactoria.

Compré la funda demasiado tarde, después de que mi cel tuviese un rayón en el display, pero desde que la tengo ya no me preocupo tanto al guardarlo en la bolsa de mi pantalón, protege de maravilla (ayer justo se me cayó mi cel y no tuvo ningún inconveniente).

I really like the transparency of this case, as well as the flexible bumper. I originally ordered the Ringke Slim case, which broke very quickly both times I bought it. This case has lasted and stayed in near-perfect condition through several drops now. The transparency allows the vinyl skin I ordered to show through, which I also appreciate.I would say the only thing I don't like as much as the Slim case is that it's thicker by a little bit. I still prefer this case, though, and would order again if I had to do so.
