I've used this on the vinyl seats and plastic in my pontoon for years (and my cars and side-by-side too). I do not use a boat cover and don't need one since this stuff works great protecting it all. Everything looks new all the time. Taking the cover on and off was a real pain and this stuff eliminates the need to do it. It just sits at the dock in the sun, rain, leaves, pine needles, pollen, bird turds - whatever. I do store my boat shrink-wrapped for winter, and give it one last application of protectant before it lays up until spring.As a side note, I also used it to clean and restore the vinyl siding on my house which had 10+ years of fade that was very noticeable when I added a mudroom and used the same (but new) siding. Just sprayed it on the old stuff and wiped it off, and presto: just like new. You can't tell the difference. So I did also did my faded-to-pink maroon vinyl window shutters as well - same result, just like new: maroon again! It has been five months and no fading (the sun hits this side of the house for half a day). This stuff works!

My process for using this conditioners protection: clean the vinyl with a separate cleaner (I used some leftover RV roof cleaner ) and THEN condition the vinyl with the starbrite protector/conditioner. The starbrite products are superb. And this protector really softens and protects. It’s takes about a day to fully cure and shield the vinyl. Force a year for me but it should last through multiple seasons.

Purchase this item to maintain our new pontoon furniture. I've use Star Brite products for a long time and feel I get the best results. Apply once when the start of boating and last all summer. Price is comfortable and easy to use sprayer.

I have used this on my vinyl shutters and it worked well. I ordered some for my brother-in-law and sent it to him and he called to tell me that he agrees, it worked well for his shutters. Will buy again.

I just used this product on my vinyl liner pool. It's 30x15 feet. I drained it down about 30". I then applied.the product to sides. I was impressed how easy it when on and I liked the smell. It improved the look and I believe it will add protection.Working

Used this to protect the vinyl in my boat (new vinyl - $$$$$). Had just gotten the boat back, took it out for the first time, and some folks walked on my new vinyl with their shoes, leaving stains and prints. I was polite but let them know that was exactly what I'd told them not to do a few minutes earlier, and it would happen once...but I digress. I used the Star Brite vinyl cleaner (reviewed elsewhere) to clean the stains off, which worked very well. Then I treated it with this Ultimate Vinyl Guard. I like how easy it is to apply - just spray on, rub in with a soft cloth, then wipe down with the same cloth (or you could use a separate wipe down cloth). Finish is low lustre, not the shiny/oily look and feel of some other brands. Scent on this is a conconut/beach smell, but not overpowering, so pleasant and appropriate for a boat. Remains to be seen how well it holds up but independent testing in lab environments show this one to be one of the best, if not the best, in terms of UV and water penetration protection. I'm extremely pleased, overall.Just need to keep the shoes off the boat!

I like this stuff because it doesn't leave my boat seats oily, and it seams to work well.

Love this product. I looked at many others but I wanted something simple to apply and this did just that. I had an old vinyl black chair that had faded and this brought back the color and shine immediately, so easy. Highly recommended!
