Worked well enough to find pee spots on the carpet of a room that was smelling (potty training a boy at its finest). Spots weren't as illuminated as I would have hoped even in a dark room, but again, good enough to find and clean the culprits.

Item is great. The batteries it comes with are not. Just use your regular brand of batteries so you're not surprised when the flashlight is too dim when you use it the first time.

It’s a mini black light that fits in the palm of your hand. And light weight.Don’t expect it to explain why there are different colors that glow. Works better with lights off.Will stains glow when flash onto surface but again doesn’t state what coloring mean.But can makes colors pop on “Black light friendly” items.
