Really like the realistic feel and look of the candle

Love, love this candle and it arrived quickly.

The candles are realistic! The timer works, but I rarely use it. I prefer to use the remote and turn the candle on and off when I choose. One night I forgot to turn the candle off. In the morning, my husband said that he knew how much I like candles but that I really need to be more careful because it is dangerous to leave a candle burning all night. Pretty realistic! Not all of my Luminara candles have a vanilla scent, but this one does. It is just wonderful to walk into the room with the vanilla scent. I am delighted with my purchase!

I have them throughout my home. They’re all on timers. In the evening my house has a calming ambiance.

This candle came with no battery cover. I expected more from Luminara brand. Expensive product, but packaging had no quality control.

This Luminara flameless flickering candle looks very realistic from a distance and the flickering makes the flame look real. The outer portion of the candle has a real wax coating which helps to the realistic look.How it works is there’s a small light that projects onto the flame shape and as the flame cut out wiggles, it gives the illusion of a dancing flame. Because it’s a light that’s projecting, you will notice if you place the candle near a wall there will be light reflections on the wall or ceiling that don’t happen with a real candle. It’s not as noticeable if the candle is placed somewhere like in the center of a table or used in a centerpiece so I’d recommend using it there.Doesn’t include batteries so you’ll need your own to power it on. There’s a switch on the bottom to turn it on and off or onto timer mode, or you can also purchase the remote separately.If you’re sitting right next to the candle you can tell it’s fake, however if I have it placed on a shelf in the room you wouldn’t know at first glance. We’ve had multiple people over when these were on and they thought they were real until they examined them up close.When you have the candle turned off you do see the fake flame cut out sticking up. I wish the “flame” could retract when it’s off, to make it look even more real.The flickering on these is a bit fast. There’s no way to turn it down or adjust the speed of the flicker. Personally I think if the flickering was slowed it would look even more realistic. When placed next to a real candle these flames are wobbling so much faster it gives it away that it’s fake. Otherwise, it does a great job at mimicking a real flame and actually looking like it’s a lit candle if you turn it to the side so that the flame cut out is at an angle.Price point is high, but this is the OG flameless technology.Another issue I have is that the colors don’t seem consistent. I got a couple candles in the color ivory, but they do not look the same when placed next to each other. I have a taper candle that’s super light and I prefer the look of that one, then this ivory one that’s more beige, and a different ivory one that’s a lot more yellow. So it’s definitely inconsistent despite all being labeled as the color “ivory.”Great to use for home decor in places where you want the ambiance of a candle, but want to avoid a fire risk, but needs better consistences among the same colors, otherwise if you’re making a centerpiece or putting them next to each other it doesn’t look right.

Perfect size, smells great, functions well.

these rock!! these look so real I cant get over it! the ONLY issue I have with them is they turn on when I press the "down arrow" on my Vizio TV remote control.. I purchased the remote for these candles so it's easy to just shut them off. it would be a pain in the butt if I had to get up to turn off the candles.
