Fairly sure at this point, this company is a complete and utter scam.
Bought an ebike through Amazon, figure since it was going to be a primary means of transportation, I would get the warranty to ensure minimal downtime if there were any issues. If that is your need of warranty, this is not the company.Very shortly upon getting the bike, I needed to file a claim for repairs due to damage (caused by a faulty part). I sent them all the order info, serial number, photos of damages, etc. Seemed fairly standard. Then, they apparently hand everything off to a different third-party 'repair' company. Yet again I need to send them all of the stuff I just sent Asurion. They agree there's repairs to be made the warranty would honor. Then, things begin to get fishy. Asurion sends an email saying to pack up and ship the bike with the 'attached' shipping label, but does not include a shipping label. Shortly after, the repair company finally gets me in touch with a technician, who says the best they can do is order replacement parts, which they will mail to me, and they don't know repair shops in the area so I'll have to take the bike and parts once received to various shops until I find someone able and willing to do the work. Then they'll allegedly reimburse me for the shop's cost. Already sounds unlikely.Then, over the next 2 and half months, they will dodge calls, not return calls, and on the off chance I can get in contact with them, simply say, 'we've ordered the parts and they're on their way' yet be unable to provide any shipping or tracking info or any estimate of when anything will be happening.So, 3 months after filing a claim, I still have a broken bike, no parts, no repair shop, and no estimate of parts coming in. Seems like they have not and will not order anything, and just give vague useless, boilerplate responses when questioned.Ultimately, if you need a product repaired or replaced under warranty, this company is entirely unreliable. They may simply not do it. And they apparently are not held to any standards to do so in a reasonable timeframe.Definitely not the actions of a legitimate warranty company, but of a scam that should be reported to the Better Business Bureau, and Amazon seems shadier for offering this company as the only option for warranty with some products.

Well worth the money
I purchased a e-bike last year from amazon. Then I purchased the 2 year warranty offered by Amazon thru a company called Asurion. Well, I did have a problem after a year with the bike. At first, I had my doubts, but decided to file the claim. I was surprised at how easy and pleasant the process was. The customer service rep for Asurion was professional and re assuring that this would be solved quickly. It took all of ten minutes to verify the claim and to get if filed. No run around, no hassles. Just total professionalism. Within three days they had the whole problem resolved. In my case they sent me a gift card for the full purchase amount of the e bike, and I was able to purchase another e bike. You can bet, that when I purchased my new bike, That I also purchased the warranty insurance as well. Totally a satisfied and happy customer. Thank You Amazon, and thank You Asurion.

Asurion was prompt and handled my claim quickly. Had issues with the service provider and Asurion jumped in quickly to remedy the situation. Had my parts in 3 days after 2 months of waiting.

Pretty fast with great communication (email) and when I called, they were very friendly and answered all my questions.I was expecting an exact replacement battery from HeyBike, but the gift card will work. Hopefully the off brand will work fine.
