WowWee - MiP The Toy Robot - Deluxe (Includes Recharge Pack) - Metallic Pink

We love MiP. It is fun having all of his accessories. The ramp is fun to play with. He doesn't seem to work optimally with his off road tires on. He looks cute wearing them, but he falls down a lot. Maybe it would work better in a true off road environment, but we didn't want to get him dirty. We want another Mip so they can fight. It looks like fun! Our first WowWee robot was the Tribot and Mip is much more user friendly. Wish I still had that old Tribot though.

We have spent hours and hours playing with this with my 6 year old daughter. It is super cool. Need to have a smart phone, which she does. App would not work with kindle, but worked great with older S3 samsung smart phone. Seems to take a beating and keeps running.

Package does not state the color. It appears to be white until it is opened. I was apprehensive to open it because it might not be returnable but after searching the barcode in Amazon and coming to the Pink one I decided to open the box and found it was correct. That being said, my daughter loved hers from last Christmas so much that my other daughter added it to her list. I am interested to see how these two interact. Also note that the app was intuitive enough for my 8 yr old.

This would be fine for, say, $15-20. At the $100+ price point, this is a joke. It doesn't do anything. I suppose it could entertain a 4 year old or a special needs child, but my 5 year old daughter was bored with it within 5 minutes. I'm embarrassed that I spent money on this thing.

Have had this several years and it has performed great and my granddaughter loves it.

I purchased this as a Christmas present for my 9 year old. Its been on the shelf the last 12 days. When I ask him why, its because the battery is dead. The big problem with the MiP is that you have to unscrew the rechargeable battery pack from the robot in order to plug the pack in. That usually takes a parent to accomplish this. It would be much better if the battery charging terminal was on the back of the robot. Now that I know why its on the shelf, I'll plug it in for him. For the 3 days the MiP was charged in running, it was hours of entertainment. It was running all over our floors, making those cute robot sounds as the kids interacted with it. Even the 4 year old was enthralled. The MiP app was easy to sync with the robot and made the robot a lot of fun to use. Hopefully the batter design will get changed in the future.

This was purchased for a 9 year old boy and perhaps if he was younger it would have been more interesting but to be honest we all came away with the reaction of, "Boring!" It works it is just not fun to play with for more than 10 min.Perhaps we were expecting something more 'intelligent' or more advanced as I see other good reviews but if you are looking for and exciting/intelligent robot this may very well not be the droid you are looking for.

Great little Robot. My sons ages 8 and 9 years old can control it easily. Ton of fun and worth every penny!
