U380 CAN-BUS OBDII Car Diagnostic Scanner

paid for expedited shipping (which it came on time) only to hook up to my car (2006)and be told I had a trouble code (duh) but it wouldn't list what kind. All it would list is N/A 01/01 when it listed the trouble code. Seems like china Junk to me. going to buy a better version... steer clear!

The booklet included shows you how to connect and operate plus diagnostic codes that you can use when looking on the internet for further explanations. This unit can erase the check engine code if you would like or to leave at the time for further assistance from a mechanic.

it was ok for the price, but it was very selected on newer cars

This item worked great, the only negative I have against it is that it only works when plugged into the car. I maid the mistake of testing the car and trying to go inside to go through the code book just to find out that it turned off as soon as it was un-plugged so I had to re-test but that is just a minor inconvience I just sat in my car going through the code book and when I was done I un-plugged it. This will be my top and possibly the only recommendation I will have for someone with car problems/check engine light.

Doesn't work on Mazdas despite it supposedly being CAN and I assume a lot of other cars as well. I wouldn't recommend gambling on this unit to see if it works and just spend a few extra bucks.

I bought this because my check engine light went on. It's easy to hook up to the car, gave a code that something was wrong with my emissions system. After looking up the code, it turned out to just be a faulty gas cap.Price of this device + price of new gas cap = savings from being ripped off from a car repair shop.

The analyzer seemed to work great however, I quickly noticed that it had scratches all over it which was confusing to me since it was factory sealed and was properly packaged. I figure it was either refurbished or it had a rough ride at the plant prior to packaging. Even though I returned it because of the scratches (no-one wants to pay for a new product only to end up with a scratched up product), I liked how it seemed very durable, seemed to operate quickly and as it was designed to. In comparison with other similar products, it is definitely a great buy which is why I gave it 3 stars instead of 0.
