I run one in my 150 and one in my 125. They are a great insurance policy if you ever have a power outage (battery air pump). The Aquatop is probably the best sponge filter I've ever owned. The hard plastic portions don't deteriorate over time like others I've owned. Great product.

For aquarium nice filter

put it to seed into my fully cycled aquarium. after 2 days killed my beneficial bacteria and a few of my fish. took it out. the aquarium and the sponge smelt of plastic DO NOT USE

This filter is MASSIVE.. I purchased 2 for my 180 gallon and can't even use them. Takes up way too much space

Useful filter for the 150 gallons plus aquarium, operate quietly, with many air bubbles.
