Oozes cool
This thing is awesome. Great sound for something so small. An hour plus if use time -music at a reasonable volume, not turned up to 11...It's so small no one sees it and I can wear winter hats comfortably. I love it. The only down side is due to its minuscule size the antenna is very small thus it needs a line of sight for it to work- it does not like to receive Bluetooth signal through the human body or water (i.e. Keep the phone in your right pocket if it's in your right ear. )

In-depth review on the Rowkin Wireless Headphone
I've never wrote a review on a product, but by god, does this product needs forewarning. My bluetooth headphone (I ordered the black headphone) actually came a little late, which was fine by me, because after reading about the wireless headphone, I was legitimately excited. When it arrived, I was extremely impressed on how the presentation was tidy and almost regal. It came with a charger and even a guide on how to operate the device. As soon as I saw it, I thought, 'What could possibly go wrong??' Problem was, once I received the product, I discovered that there were some details about this item that made the headphone a phony: 1. The distance. I could not take my headphone more than 30 feet away from my IPhone. Alas, I couldn't even put my phone in my pocket because as soon as I did, my music would abruptly stop. I left it on my kitchen counter and walked to the bathroom, which is about 30 feet. As soon as I turned to start walking away, my music halted. I would like to emphasize the word 'start', due to the fact that I didn't even begin to advance until my bluetooth headphone decided that it was too far away. What's worse was the fact that when I simply put my finger onto the screen of my phone to operate it, it would disrupt my connection. How in the world could my finger severe a connection to a $71 headphone?? It just doesn't make sense to me. As I'm typing to this, I'm keeping this phone about 3-6 inches from my face, and it just keeps chopping up my audio. 2. The quality of sound. Honestly, my $14 wired headphones from Best Buy had better sound quality than the Rowkin. It was even worse when I turned up the volume, thinking that it would make it sound better. To my distaste, there was a slight absence of bass (I listen to mostly techno/eurodance/rock), and most of my songs sounded like they were butchered. 3. The battery length. This was, by far, the removal of the pin to the disappointment grenade. I listen to mostly hour-long mixes of songs on YouTube, and I calculated that the Rowkin wireless headphone lasts a little after one hour. Let's say an hour and fifteen... Why? How could this be acceptable? The description explicitly stated, correct me if I'm mistaken, that the headphone had an 8 hour span of battery life. What I found out is that if you turn it on while connecting, and it doesn't connect to your phone, it will take a ridiculous chunk out of your battery life. I screwed up the connection twice and the most it lasted was up to 5-10 minutes before it screamed in my ear that it was almost out of juice. I can't even use it to Skype with my friends because I'm afraid that the product would just automatically drain. 4. The cord to charge the portable charger. This literally has to be the shortest cord in the existence of humanity. I understand that they had to make it small enough to fit in that modern case, but is that really necessary? Couldn't you just put it in a bigger box? Which leads me to my next point. 5. The presentation. Yes, I said the presentation impressed me, but as I looked at it more and more, I realized how much of a burden it is. The case is quite artistic, but I'd rather have all my items be easier to locate over art. This is coming from an upcoming starving-artist actor. I've almost misplaced or lost my items more times than I could remember, because this generation is too invested in 'the smaller, the better and cooler-looking it'll look!'All in all, I am extremely disappointed and let down that this company tricked me. I would return the product, however, I still think it might come useful if I use it for Halloween as a security guard or something. Besides, if I tried to return it, it would probably be denied, due to the fact that I lost the unusable string and the handbook. I give this product a 2/5, because the presentation captured me. Nonetheless, please don't spend so much money on this item, you shall be just as manipulated as I once was.

great call clarity and impressive connective range...but HORRIBLE line-of-sight reliance atypical of bluetooth technology.
PROS:- attractive, minimalistic design...although i'd like an all silver or all black option...preferably matte. i hate these glossy plastics.- extremely. EXTREMELY small.- fits well in ear, stays put and doesn't fall out (this will vary from person to person)it's amazing how far technology has come along...this is definitely a shocking small piece of bluetooth. i went from jawbone icon to some generic non-brand earbuds...to this...with the intent on having as small of a bluetooth as possible. this is so small that it literally is unnoticeable unless someone looks at my profile on the side i'm wearing the bluetooth...it's completely concealed inside my ear canal from behind.CONS:- huge connectivity issue (explained below)- glossy plastic coating (personal bias)- proprietary charging system (no way to independently charge it without the case)the biggest flaw, and why it's not a 5-star piece of gear is because for some reason the bluetooth signal becomes intermittently lost if there's not a straight line-of-sight between your phone and this headset. this is why people are saying it cuts off at 1-2ft when in fact, this isn't true. i've tested it and when given a clear line-of-sight to your device, its distance is pretty impressive...i'd gauge anywhere between 25-30ft at least from my tests. voice is still clear at this point both outgoing and incoming. however, the moment you have ANYTHING that obstructs this line-of-sight connection, the bluetooth becomes unbearably bad and your callers' voices will start chopping randomly and sound almost robotic. people claim it cuts off at 1-2ft because they have it in a pocket. from my tests, fabric obstruction isn't a huge deal (as in, you can have it sitting in a backpack next to you and it should be fine, or in your pocket if you're sitting down). but if you even so much as WAVE your hand between the headset and your device, the connection problems will start, and stop once you remove the obstruction (i.e. move your hand out of the line-of-sight). this is very strange and i haven't had any bluetooth product perform like this...it's almost as if the rowkin mini is running off infrared (IR) and not bluetooth. bluetooth should not require line-of-sight to function correctly.rowkin, please fix this issue somehow, because this is an outstanding product and in comparison to the other tiny headset on the market (the much more expensive motorola moto hint), this product is a clear winner to me. BUT it doesn't deserve 5 stars because i'd like to be able to have my phone in my thigh pocket and walk around and not have connectivity issues...but now i can't because when i move my thigh/body will partially obstruct the connection and voices cut in and out. i mean, if i have to hold my phone in my hand if i'm walking and talking...i might as well just hold the phone to my face :/

Not good
Starting with the battery life - its too low it wont last for more than an hour , its range is too low , if u r standing and ur phone is in ur jeans pockect then it will not work. Its too disapointing . And the mic is very poor , u cant take calls with it . The structure is very bad . If u will just touch it with wet hands it might not work as the structure is poor

Good, but always keep it charged - Updated, both batteries are borked
It's size, sounds quality and design are excellent drawcards, but it has two significant drawbacks - the battery and the signal strength. I wasn't expect amazing battery life as the battery is understandably tiny - my frustration comes from the fact that it gives you about a one minute from the low battery warning to it being dead. As for the signal strength, again even taking its size into consideration I get a fair amount of pops and distortion walking around the having my phone my pocket.Update: Both batteries are now pretty much shot. The earbud lasts for about 15-20 minutes of streaming (podcasts mostly) and the holder is good for maybe one recharge. No option to return or replace that I can find. Extremely disappointed as I was so keen on this when I got it.

Comfortable, convenient but not perfect
I really like the concept of this product and the size. Very comfortable to wear. The sound is ok, not great but adequate. The charge is indeed short but you can keep it charged when you keep it in the sleeve. Mine does not automatically connect to bluetooth when you turn it on. This is a bit annoying as I have to look for it on my iPhone 6 every time i want to use it. The main drawback is the short range for bluetooth. My iPhone practically needs to be right next to it for it to function properly. What i find is that i have to use it in my left ear and then I can put the iPhone in my shirt pocket for hands free use. This is a bit disappointing but I am going to continue to use it, primarily because it is really so comfortable and I can keep it in my ear without knowing that it is there.
