Perfect Fit for 2009 Chevy Aveo5!
The Throttle Body Heater Inlet Pipe was just what I needed for my 2009 Chevy Aveo5. While the molding isn't exactly the same as the original, I had to run it a bit differently, but it fit perfectly and is getting the job done without any issues. Overall, a great replacement part that does exactly what it's supposed to do!

This fit well on my 2010 Chevy Aveo
When I replaced the thermostat housing I noticed that the end of my original pope was broken off in the housing. Because of that, I replaced it with this pipe. The works well, but I'd like to note that the curvature of this replacement is slightly different. Once installed, you can manipulate it a little more as the heated coolant in the line softens the pipe. Please note that you should retain the original clamp from your existing pipe. This only comes with one and you need two. This pipe is also a little longer than the original, but it will work.I found it was easier to access the connection to the engine when I removed the intake dust pipe. That gave me full access to this pipe, but you should put a rag in the air intake port on the engine. When you remove the heater inlet pipe, there will likely still be coolant in the line and you don't want this getting in your intake. All in all, it was a great replacement and only time will tell how long this will last. Hopefully as long as my last one (~106K miles).

The product quality was good, delivery on time.
The media could not be loaded. Warning: this part has a flat spot or a "landing" that is designed to fit into the housing in which it is inserted. The flat spot on the part I recieved wasn't clocked correctly. It was just a little more than 120 degrees out. In order to get the part to work I had to cut off the land. Have not pressure tested it yet, but did manage to get it to go in and click. Hopjng it doesn't leave me stranded on the side of the road. The land should be at the 2 o'clock position when viewed from front of car looking down. If inserted this part would have the stiff hose pointed directly at the engine's head instead of towards the firewall. Carefully cutying off the landing and leaving enough of the insert to retain the o-ring and allow the retaining clip to latchay have done the job. Time will tell. Allowing the hose to warm up and straighten out helps before installation, as it will not just slide into its clios on the intake when eemoved from package. Also make sure to place a rubber sleeve on it where it makes contact by the engine lift point. OEM part already has this added peotection to prevent chafing and a possible leak from the hole which will eventually occur at that point. Save the hose clamp from the throttle body contact.point as it does not come with that either. OEM part can be had at teice the cost if you are not in a pinch. The clip on end becomes brittle over time.and causes leakage of coolant which is hard to detect. Keep a close eye on this installation if you went the route I did. Attention to detail is something many aftermarket parts lack. This part was listed as fitting my 2010 aveo5 with 1.6 liter LSV engine. It does not. It may.fit other models correctly, but it is not a "plug and play" option for my application. Hope the photos are clear enogh to show the landing and the position it should be in. When facing down it should be at 2 o'clock, when facing up it should be at about the 10 oclock position. Part recieved is just slightly off of 6 o'clock facing up or down. Hope this helps someone else.
