monopoly with graphics
The game is a great look on the old monopoly game. There are a variety of games and you can customize your own rules. Your avatar can be seen walking in the back ground. I just wish it could be a playable character like in the Family Fun Night series.

Fun game
Pretty basic monopoly game. 2 boards where you move characters around and can see the buildings. It super high end graphics, but a fun family game to play.

Fun Game-but needs bug fixes!!
This is a great spin on a classic board game. However, there are bugs that need immeadiate attention. Some of these bugs almost make the game useless.Host Migration!-After hours of playing a game of Monopoly on Xbox live the Player One, who was a human host, went bankrupt. Understandingly, instead of staying online to watch the other three players duke it out, he decided to quit. Instead of the online host being switched over to the next player, the game just ended! Just like that. Imagine how extremely frustrated you are when you just spent 2 hours in a game, you bankrupt a player and then the whole game just cuts off because the host quit the game! I didn't want to play this game anymore after this happened a second time.Additionally, there have been a couple of times when the game would just freeze. These two things need to be fixed immeadiately. Otherwise, this is a great game.

Great new look, same classic game
This is a solid game. Great party game (downfall is that you can only have 4 players - pretty weak considering that you could easily pass 1 controller around). It's fairly easy to get 1000g (some of the online achievements are purely based on luck, so to get those you'd be better off getting a partner) if you're looking for achievements. As the title states, it brings a fresh new look to this classic board game. There are a few other game types that really put a different spin on the game without losing the core gameplay, and seeing your avatar running around the board is very cool. However, the animations and what not get boring REALLY fast, so you'll find yourself skipping them by the middle of your first game (and turning them off completely by the start of the second).Overall, it's Monopoly. If you didn't like it, you wouldn't be looking at reviews of this. Playing on the console removes the ability to cheat as opposed to the actual game. It also makes clear what the rules are, instead of the rules you may have grown up with in your home (but you are able to change the rules). The console also saves you from having to count out money for transactions, and the bank doesn't run out of money. This game will give you some good, fun hours of play, but will likely end up on the shelf soon after you 1k it. It's really great to bring out when you have 3 other people to play with. If you can get it for less than 20 bucks, go for it. Otherwise, I say stick with the actual board game.

GOOD GAME - BUT COULD BE SO MUCH BETTER....
Let me start out by saying that this is a fun Monopoly game but the sloppyness of development really takes away from the overall experience.Pros- The Street Boards are a lot of fun- When you have 4 human players, the game rocks- I like the concept of unlocking things in game without having to buy (tokens, etc.)Cons- Mandated that the game must have 4 players to start- Only comes with two Street boards. The rest are really really expensive and can only be purchased- Computer characters get old fairly quickly- Poor choice of buttons. The button the user expects often does match with how the game was programmed which leads to a lot of rework (trades don't get submitted, houses don't get built, etc.)Overall, this is a fun game, but it seems like Electronic Arts was more interested in nickle and diming the consumer with upgrades than providing a comprehensive monopoly game.
