All-in-One Wine Stopper & Preserver, Vacuum Pump, Set of 2

Of the pair I bought, one worked like a charm, but the other one never worked at all. Hard to rate, given the fifty percent failure rate, when the one that worked did a perfectly great job.

Broke easily. Barely better than a cork.

I received my nicely beat vacuum seal wine stoppers today and am very impressed by the quality and functionality of the product.First I would like to say that I am a big fan of wine and I am yet to come across a wine stopper that has been able to effectively preserve my aleready opened bottles. The packaging includes 2 wine wine stoppers and instructions for use. The instructions are quite simple and fairly intuitive. When I tried to use the bottle stopper on my bottle of wine I found the instructions to be helpful and accurate as far as how many pumps are needed to create an adequate vacuum seal. The wine stoppers definitely work because when I removed the stopper from the bottle; it was a tad bit difficult and it definitely made a pop!I was worried about the size of the stoppers at first because the cork doesn't completely fit into the bottle, which I'm assuming is to help with sizing. When I compared a decorative wine stopper to these ones the sizing wasn't actually that different. The bottle fits perfectly in the lower rack of my refrigerator without hastle! I would recommend these stoppers, they work well. I recieved this product At a discount or for free in order to give my honest opinion.

Took WAY too much effort in order to seal the wine & then you couldn't tell if it was sealed (it kinda got harder to pump after minutes of pumping). Then my husband tossed one in the dishwasher (arg) and it completely fell apart. The other one fell apart on its own after several uses. I do NOT recommend this product. I did find another product that works very well after this one failed me - I reviewed it as well. Check out the Vacu Vin Wine Saver Pump.

Just started using, but seems to work great. I've had similar pumpers that were not as adjustable. Not hard to pump and seems to take the air out. Good pop when opening. Think I'm really going to like.

It's not what I was expecting. Is okay to use to close the bottle, but the suction/vacuum thing doesn't works... need pump too much time to start to make some effect and at the time to finish pump is time to pour more to your glass.

These work great for a little wine cork stopper, but the vacuum pump doesn't work at all! The directions say to pump about "40 times" if the bottle is half empty. We pumped it more than 100 times, but no go. There is a very small hole that is supposed to pull up the air, but it just doesn't work. We tried several times. I gave it a 2-star (instead of only 1) because it does fit nicely in the bottle as a cork. I was part of a pilot review group and received this product at a reduced price.

simple and useful, and so much easier to store then the bigger wine vac's - I gave several to other people and they like them as well.
