Great multi-use sofa/ daybed!
Sturdy and elegant with good padding and quality fabric. It has stood up to constant use by 4 teenagers sitting on it all at once, followed by one sleeping on it every night. I used extra screws to secure the slats and 2 vinyl coated shelves from Home Depot as a bunkie board ( only $13 each and they don’t hurt your hands when tucking in sheets). Put a nine inch latex mattress from Sleep on Latex , also from Amazon, and it’s just perfect! My son loves it. When we want to dress it up, I put the custom cover on it that is available for purchase at the Jennifer Taylor Home website, and you would never know it was a bed . It just becomes a deep comfortable sofa.

beautiful looking but problem with manufacturing defect
This Daybed is very attractive, the wood materials used are sturdy, and it looked like it could last. Once assembled it looks beautiful. But I was very sad that the one I ordered had a manufacturing defect, in that the back support board on the frame that is used to hold up the cross boards was 1/2" higher than the front! So I kept having the sensation of sliding off, and it looked like it was slanting forward. It could not be fixed as the front and back support frames were manufactured that way. I was grateful to amazon customer support who gave me a full refund, as the item could not be fixed or used like this at all.

Nice looking but tricky assembly
The side pieces/boards didn't fit entirely and properly into the middle main part. So they're kind of "hanging", not securely tightened, creating an open space. Not sure why the twin mattress didn't fit properly (too small) either.

Gorgeous!
This is absolutely gorgeous! I was looking for a daybed we could put in the middle of the room. So many of them didn’t have a finished back. This has a finished back and looks expensive! We wanted a daybed in the living room instead of a sofa because we have a dog that ruined our last sofa. I put a navy mattress protector on the mattress and covered with a navy velvet blanket. I can just take the blanket off and wash it. It is so nice having something beautiful and comfy she can’t destroy! Highly recommend! I also don’t think it looks too big to use as a sofa. I just put two rows of pillows and we love it!

Better than I’d hoped one month in
I am using an 11 inch Tempur-pedic mattress and was able to order a matching cover for that mattress from the Jennifer Taylor home website. I couldn’t be happier! It is slightly lower profile than I had imagined but otherwise it is beautiful with a soft textile and sturdy frame.
