When I started wearing hearing aids, my ears itched a lot. I was told it was most likely irritation from the hearing aids and that it was a normal reaction. My audiologist recommended Eargene and said it really worked. She was right. I use it every night after I remove my hearing aids. It feels very soothing and my ears don't itch very often any more. I highly recommend it.

It does provide relief for itchy ears, though it leaves residue. Works better than other things I have tried.

Eargene helps me keep my hearing aids and by extension, my ears in better shape. Wearing hearing aids for 12 or more hours a day causes discomfort. When it’s really hot I use it more often as the Texas heat causes sweating which creates itchiness. Eargene is the best solution I’ve found for my itchy ears. I clean my hearing aids at least twice a day, which helps.I put a bit of Eargene on cotton and wipe off my aids with it.My audiologist, who also wears hearing aids, is the one who told me about it, so I know it’s ok to use!Pro tip: do NOT stick cotton swabs on a stick in your ear. You can end up blocking your ear canal with wax which is a pain! There are tools that are made to safely clean your ears. I really like them, too!

My ear canals never itched before wearing hearing aids. Now it is all I can do not to rip them to shreds due to the itch. I am so glad I found Eargene. I get immediate relief. I also occasionally alternate with plain mineral oil. I gently swab my canal with an immersed q-tip. I tried swabbing the dome on my aid and then inserting into my ear, but that didn't work for me at all. I am going to start subscribing Eargene with Amazon so I will be sure not to run out.
