Sturdy and surprisingly strong
These far outperformed my expectations. I purchased them to carry some wood over a couple hundred mile journey and didnt see the 85lb weight capacity rating until they arrived. Tightened them very thoroughly at install and the wood i needed to haul ended up exceeding 400lbs. It was slow going but the racks held up. I dont recommend exceeding the weight rating, but they sure performed in a pinch

Low quality, dangerous product
Terrible product got it as tight as I could to my car, but while transporting my kayak (with a bough and stern line) these thing let my kayak fly off my car on a 60mph road… do not recommend.

Seems sturdy
Not exactly easy to figure out how to install, but do-able. Seems study and looks good on my car. I haven’t actually used it to secure something to my roof yet but the bars seem securely attached and should work well.

Okay value & sturdy but with two problems
These crossbars are pretty heavy duty but there are two problems: 1. They do not perfectly fit my 2021 HRV Sport side rails. The attachment mechanism has rubber grips that do not fit over the side rails very well. They must be tightened almost to the point where the hex bolts will strip to remain solidly attached. Most importantly, 2. they cause a noisy vibration. I padded and tightened down everything that might be loose and realized it was my roof, not the cross bars, that was vibrating. Above 30 mph, the high speed wind hitting the crossbars must create an oscillating air current that buffets and vibrates the roof. Once I installed a kayak carrier on the crossbars, the vibration and noise stopped probably because the air flow over the bars was changed. These work but as others noted, you get what you pay for.

Difficult Install...But Solid
I received these this week, and they came without any sort of instructions. Thanks to those who left pics. I had to wrestle them on a bit, but they're as sturdy as my wife's factory bars on her 4Runner.

Does not fit Honda hrv 2019
The website says at its shortest it is 33 inches and at longest 37 inches. The shortest setting on the racks I received was 42 inches and therefore doesn't fit my car as it is too long to clip into the rails. Also, horrible instructions for installation! Video was a bit better but not by much.
