Perfect fit and function
I'm exceedingly happy with this purchase. The valve was a perfect fit and functions better and more smoothly than the original ever did. I like that the bottom cap is metal rather than plastic. Just make sure that it's tight to avoid any leaking. The non-metalic potions seem to be made of a sturdy plastic or nylon that appears to be better than the original material as well. All the dimensions are correct, making the fit perfect and the water line connections leak free. I would recommend this replacement valve to anyone.

Works as described
Easy to install. Solved my leak issue I had with the original 22yr old valve. Great price and seems well built.

Work around - Bottom cap leaks - no rubber seal
I just purchased a 1987 Winnebago. I've spent hours spent drying the carpet and thinking my connections were the problem. I then unscrewed the bottom cap and there was no seal. NO SEAL! I cut a soft rubber garden hose rubber seal to fit in the thin perimeter spot in the cap. Using Teflon tape alone will not correct this issue. On the bottom of the plastic threads, I was concerned it it was tapered it might wedge the rubber washer out. I put a large flat file on a table edge and carefully slid the threaded bottom across it using even pressure to create a more flat contact surface. Heads up on one other part being sold on Amazon. The after market spring loaded part that the toilet ball square pin is attaches to is garbage. I purchased a kit that included the ball and square pin. The spring tension is factory set. The tension is too much for the plastic and bent the inner plastic causing the spring to move out of alignment making it impossible to connect to the square pin. After trying to making it work and jamming a screwdriver into the side of my hand, I drove to an RV dealership that had a "Dometic" brand in stock. It was spendy but well worth the quality needed to get that part installed. THEN after that, all the above leak issues happened. Now it's the next morning. I will install the valve this morning and come back to this review if I run into more issues. Also from what I've read, I think the cap should be removed and drained as part of the winterizing process.

Works but needed tightened
The part fits and works as it should. It leaked around the brass cap when I installed it. A quick tightening of the cap and the leaking stopped. Overall a worthwhile purchase. Appears more durable than the OE unit.
