Got for my 88 yr old dad, who has fallen out of bed a few times (he does sleep on the bed edge).It is narrow enough that it doesn’t really impact getting in & out of bed (in line with the bottom of his pillow, by his chest). Sturdy enough to stay in place, bottom fitted sheet can be easily changed without having to remove it. Also helpful as a support. It doesn’t resemble a standard bed guard (like toddlers have, but some for the elderly are similar) I know my dad would have not accepted one like that. Stubborn old bugger 🤣. Adjustable height, easy to fit, secure. Delivery was swift. Price is good compared to others.

Unfortunately it did not fit our bed as our mattress sits into the base so there is a lip preventing the bar from going under it. Tried to angle it under but it is not very secure snd misshapens the mattress. It would prob be ok if the mattress sat on the base. It does have a handy little pocket in it that would be good for glasses. Book and tv remote control and it seems quite study

works a treat however the screws should have a stronger covering on the rail area as father has already cut his hand on it once...

Liked the ease of assembly. Did not like I had to chop off 15 mm to make it fit the bed. Nor do I like the fact it bent not long after starting to use. The joints do need to be stronger for general use.

Excellent value for money and good quality materials. Purchased for my father who had a stroke and has some left hand side paralysis. He has been unable to pull himself up in bed but with this positioned by the side of his pillow it not only provides a point for him to hold onto once in bed it also supports him when getting in and out of bed. Easy to construct no tools required as all parts slot into each other, however they were a little stiff to put together so didn’t give you 5 stars as I think if I was not there to put it together my elderly parents would have struggled on their own .

Item faulty cannot adjust hand hold as the accepting tube is slightly bent. Cannot dismantle so cannot return!

Good quality, assembly instructions not good but managed to assemble correctly in the end. Fitting to bed easy, very effective to help to sit-up and also stops falling out of bed.Good value for money
