Fit my Ryobi rig just fine ( had to swap out and use the supplied black arbor nut though ) !!!

Getting the old trimmer head off was more difficult than described in the instructions and not exactly as shown.

Never knew I needed this, but what a genius idea. I always run out of string in the middle of the job, sweltering in the Texas heat. Now I can get back to it in a minute or two and not have to fuss with spools and springs and caps.

Works as should and very easy to install , overall excellent product.

It worked the first time out of the packaging. But the second time, it didn't work. Putting it on the weed trimmer was difficult but finally accomplished with great effort. There are three main problems with this unit: 1) when you bump it, it doesn't feed line out. The line just gets stuck inside. Then you have to take it apart to fix the line. 2) after you've taken the head off and fixed the twisted line, trying to put the head back on is difficult even when the arrows are aligned; it doesn't always go down in to lock the head with the base. 3) the last problem with this bump feed is the bump itself. It's totally wearing down. Maybe they should've used metal or some other hard material because the green part that you bump against the ground is being ground away. I think my Ryobi weed trimmer was just a money pit. I tried this product to make my Ryobi weed trimmer not such a bad choice. But this product was just more money down the drain. Find another weed trimmer because giving Ryobi more money towards another head to replace a bad head that they put on their weed trimmer is just throwing good money after bad. Try a black and decker.
