Brilliant Product!!
At first, I found this serum too oily, but in my enthusiasm about the ingredients, I was slathering it all over my face and neck, so that was my mistake. All that's needed is a few drops in the palm of my hand, then I rub my hands together then pat the oil on my face and neck. That is more than enough to cover it all, and then rub the rest on the back of my hands. I'm thrilled that it also contains the stable Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate (Vitamin C), Tocopherol (Vitamin E), and the super stable and moisturizing squalane with the Bakuchiol. By the time I've had my first cup of coffee, all of the product has been absorbed, my skin is super soft, and I'm ready to finish my routine. I have a plethora of serums that I want to use, but this replaces one of them, which is great! I also love the cream by Bakuchiol Botanicals. If they could add niacinamide to it, it would be perfect, and remove another step from my routine. All I would need for skincare would be their products, but the cream is still heavenly, and feels wonderful as a night cream after applying the serum. This product is also 100% clean. There isn't a single ingredient that's questionable or unnecessary. Altogether this is a brilliant and affordable system!

Great for sensitive skin and lasts forever
I am 52 and have extremely sensitive skin with occasional breakouts of cystic acne along my jaw and chin. I am extremely fair and need sunscreen daily but that even makes me breakout. I do get regular facials and try to take care of my skin/diet, but my skin never really seems "stable". I've tried so many different combinations of serums and moisturizers over the years. Retinol literally freaks out my skin for weeks. I'm going to say this Buckochiol Serum cautiously because its only been a week, but this may be the perfect serum. My face is, dare I say, stable. Moisturized without being oily and my skin tone seems clear and even. Here's my new routine: I wash my face with Cetaphil soap, apply this Buckochiol Serum with a couple of drops of hyaluronic acid all over my face, neck and décolleté morning and night. In the morning I add a light moisturizing sunscreen. If I wear any makeup, its IT Cosmetics CC cream SPF50 (which is also a gift from the skin gods) and Bye Bye Pores setting powder from the same company. And Voila! Hello gorgeous skin. Also, the pretty little bottle of Buckochiol serum honestly looks like a high end perfume bottle and there is such a huge amount it compared with how little I need that it will last for months. I'll update this in a few more weeks, but so far I love this stuff!!!

It’s inside what counts…
This is my third purchase of this serum. I love it. However, this time, the cap feels very cheap. The threads do no align and even of I can get the cap to align correctly, it does not twist on completely. I wish I still had my old bottle to use because this one is such a hassle. But, like the heading says, it’s inside what counts and that is amazing!

Excellent for me
This is the best product I've added to my oily skin care regimen ever. Some history: I tried tretinoin twice in my life to treat cystic acne and each time I was on the "purge" for over 3 months. So I gave up, avoided strong ingredients like salicylic acid (also didn't work for me and caused the "purge"), and focused on maintaining an anti-inflammatory moisture barrier with a gentle cleanser, toner, and moisturizer. This worked decently up until COVID hit. I was constantly wearing masks and getting painful mask-ne, so I did some research on retinol and discovered bakuchiol. For those that may not be familiar, bakuchoil was shown in 2 studies (admittedly with small sample sizes) to be half as strong as traditional retinol. So I thought it was worth a shot before spending a ton of money on another dermatologist. I started out with the 2 phase Acure serum with bakuchiol as the only active ingredient. It prevented new acne but did nothing to treat my current cystic pimples. So I found this with squalene and this has been a game changer.Unfortunately I don't have before and after pictures, but I do feel that using 4 drops across my face twice a day 1) prevents new acne, 2) treats my current acne, 3) reduces my old acne scarring and pores, and 4) reduces irritation and redness. In the 4 months I've been using this all my old cystic pimples have healed. I've only gotten 2 new, cystic pimples, caused by circumstance (putting my face where it shouldn't have been). The pores and scarring on my cheeks look smaller and less irritated. I do still have 2 tiny, but incredibly stubborn blackheads, and every once in a while I see tiny whiteheads that disappear overnight. I will take these results over a lot of painful cystic acne any day. I hope by next year my skin will look even better.

Very Hydrating
The serum itself is not too thick, spreads very well - hence, you only need 3-4 drops at the most - and moisturizes like nothing else. My skin is dry in spots but after using this for a couple of weeks, it feels very hydrated and consistently smooth and brighter. I love the limited ingredients; without fillers and "unpronounceables". After the serum has settled into my skin, I do use a small amount of Whish Bakuchiol Nighttime moisturizer for an extra punch to my mature skin. This serum is totally clear and the bottle looks like a bottle of fragrance which sits beautifully with my other fragrance bottles on my vanity tray.

It works not greasy smells good or no smell
I've ordered this product several times I am allergic to retinol and other chemicals in wrinkle products. I loved the original formula but they changed it. Not only the formula but the packaging also when I first opened it the cap I just completely took off and it was extremely greasy and smelled kind of rancid I couldn't get that greasy feel off my hands after I applied it which was not the case with the previous formula from this company. That formula I ordered two or three times I sent this back and need to find something else. If you read this and you're the company you shouldn't have changed it..
